I'm behind Rafa, the guy has made mistakes but what you also have to remember is that all the decent managers are contracted by other clubs and their arent too many better than Rafa imo![]()

As opposed to a religious site where Rafa is worshipped above all else and fire and brimstone rains down on any doubters.



That seriously stretches the limits of plausibility, even for Rafa. Liverpool fan or not, I think I'll decline to take Tony Evans' word for it on this one. A far more plausible explanation is that Gerrard had not fully recovered from the hamstring strain and that Rafa did the fundamentally correct thing and refused to risk a recurrence of one of sport's most notoriously tricky and damaging muscle injuries.
. Essentially, I was on a hair-trigger. There were a lot like me.
