So when a player scores a screamer from 30 yards to win the game - who gets the credit ? does it go to rafa cause he coaches them ?

blaming coaching skills cause of a poor timed tackle or poor marking by that one player ?!?!?!?

Yes defo there is some of that in it I would give some credit to what the manager and coachs have been doing with that player over the season or years they have been at club.

The argument about Istanbul can go back and forth, some argue Rafa was forced to make the subs he made whilst others say they were genius, it is hard to tell but it is true that he was very clever in getting us to two finals, i can't deny that BUT how often has he made a sub in a prem game which has changed the game, he seems to make auto-subs always after the 65th minute and lately they have been very bizarre along with very odd team selections and sticking by bad players and dropping good ones.

BTW I thought Mick's posts were far more worthy of post of the month etc, leon's post was just sentimental. The kind of misguided faith which ensures you don't notice any faults and never try to fix them!

Personally I couldn't give a sh1t how nice a bloke rafa is, if he is not going to take the team forward and play football which excites and inspired me then he needs to go in my opinion, becuase for me WINNING is the most important thing, maybe a lot of the roseys have a different priority on things.

If you think leons post was just sentimental then you need to read it again and properly .

Why?? I already wasted valuable seconds in my life reading it the first time.

Cause you read it incorrectly in the first place - yes he has faith like many of us but he also stated he sees the mistakes and wonders sometimes and wishes sometimes things were done in a different way . Nothing misguided there - its having support for the team and manager .

Herein lies the problem. Total blind faith.

The vast majority of Liverpool fans had had enough of Houllier by the time he went.

If you were like that with Houllier, I cant see a day when you'll ever want Rafa to go.

Dont get me wrong, I dont want Rafa out. I think he deserves to keep his job.
See how he does next season, then see what happens.

I met Houllier a couple of weeks after he was sacked at a UEFA event in Nyon and I can assure you he was looking fit, refreshed and happy. I dont think he cried the day he left Liverpool once he got his payoff.  :no

I think it was Dalglish who said a key opinion for me the other day.

There are decissions of Rafa I don't understand, and there are mistakes of him needless to say. But being dissapointed with the last weeks, or some decissions, does not necessarily mean you think another manager will do better.

If I stick a seed up my bum would a plant grow as well ?

That depends on some parameters, such as amount of organic fertilizers (shíte), and the stick.

But technically if you wait long enough and it's dirty enough, yes, it's possible .  :D

God knows how much of your time (and our's) you've wasted posting on here - the seconds of your life can't be that valuable then can they?  ???

No, I meant Dalglish the poster, a very good poster we have that unfortunately doesn't post much.

Ah right - yeah it is a good post but no doubt got swallowed up in lots of stuff . It is always hard to back your manager or players when things arent going well but when that happens i always look around and see who is available and realistic to get - sure would be great if we could have someone like wenger or even god forbid taggert but who is seriouslt available that we could get and we come to us in the situation we are in now - not many i assure you - Hiddink who i really rate earns far too much of romans money to quit russia unless he was offered the chelsea job - maureen - well i cant see him arrving at us unless he was backed in the money market and he has already had problems with a rich owner . who else is there ? MON ? well yeah did well in scotland - but so has strachan ? in fact better than MON and while doing a very good job at villa cant see him wanting to come to us ?
