How much have you spent ont hose courses cos they must have see you comming a mile of easy money for them.

Them courses are not easy an are time consuming but once passed very rewarding so dont knock them.

Its a shame there arnt a few more young lads on here who get up of there ar.ses and take qualifications to give something to the kids. So i commend Stu for what hes doing

Whats that nanny I am at uni training to be a teacher whats wrong with that I am sure your find some thing.

Im not havin a go im just stating from what ive read your posting regarding this

Quote
You be on the streets sooner then you think if you don't get a managers job with all that money you spent on those course lol.

Make sure you put Fo Dne on ya beggers card so I can throw you a few pound so you can buy a few cans of super tennents.

Not very clever is it lad.

Do you actualy know what it entails in becoming a coach at that level. Oh i know you said you played football but coaching is a different ball game. I know cause ive got a couple of badges. Yep a nan with a coaching badge.

As far as im aware an i dont know if im right but i bet yeh Stu is giving his own time up freely keeping the kids off the strrets by doing this. You have to be passionate in what you do .

Its good your studying to become a teacher an i commend you for that also but dont have a dig at someone whos giving up there time to help kids thats all im sayin

Well I hope he don't train any one as they will all get taught nonsense football he don't know his ar.se from his elbow.

I grow up with family in football all my life my great uncle was a scout for spurs and few of my cousins played for charlton and spurs.

I don't think I know it all never will as football you can never know to much but I feel I have a good understanding of the game.

Stu Just doesn't understand football every time he slags of a player they perform and prove him wrong yet he still slags them off ?

Where is the logic I would feel sorry for kids he trains as if they don't score a hat trick in every game he prob call then rubbish and never play them agian.

Its his blatant Disregard for effort of players thats gets me and his inability to notice a talent that bemuses me tbh.

Off to watch game now speak later.

Also Maybe if he had more open views he might not get the resposes he gets and he talks every one else down but when people talk to him back in same manner he gets upset.

Some self reflection is needed I think , because I don't have problems with any one else on these forums and I am not only one that thinks he talks out of the you know what.

2) So van basten has no clue does he? No wonder he was a legendary player and oh what club did you used to play for stu?

3) Yes they are based on history , they've done :censored: all in europe for the past few seasons and they only won the league last year , before that it was barca who dominated for a couple of season

I said Carragher was no way as bad as he was made out in the past and no way as good as he's been made out to be by our fans recently.

I never once said he's average. He isn't. Even though he has quite a few average attributes.

Coaching and playing mean have :censored: all to do with each other. Souness as a player, amazing. As a manager, average. Benitez and Mourinho as players... Nope... as "coaches" the best around.

The most successful club in europe, good example that lad.

Around the 63rd minute Babel was on a counter with Gerrard on the left level with their defence,
all it took was an early pass but he held onto it and passed it when it was too late.

I think that was typical Babel to be honest.

Did well for the pen tho.

Are you for real?

Babel done one thing all night, and lets face it, had the defender been any "kop" (like the pun? :D ) in the first place that situation would never have arose.

How he let a 60 yard floated ball go over his head like that I'll never know and to then dive in in the box when Babel had no support was sheer stupidity.

Apart from that I saw Babel run into players, give the ball away every chance he had and miss a complete sitter from three or four yards out due to showing little composure and just twatting the ball at the goalkeeper.

Again a weak link and had it not been for Gerrard's brilliance (again) then we'd have been completely screwed.

What exactly did you see from Babel that was so good tonight?

I actually thought Riera done more in the 25 minutes or so he was on the pitch than Babel did the whole ninety minutes.

I agree with you 100%

And I have to ask, do you think Jamie Carragher would have beaten the same way the Marseille defender was? Firstly by the 60 yard floated pass (which I believe 90% of decent centre halves would have dealt with) and secondly by the way he committed himself when the opposition player no support?

I think not.

Lets look at it another way, the defender deals with the long ball properly in the first place, the gamegoes on as normal, what else did Babel do in the ninety minutes?

Also, Lucas was again a complete disgrace. As Beglin described him (who i hardly ever agree with btw) a liability!

Would rather see Jay Spearing given a chance if I'm honest.

And I thought Brazilians were meant to be great passers. I cant understand how he is captain of the Brazil under 21s.

lets all see where stu is coming from instead of slagging off his opinions. he maybe harsh with words but he's a great poster IMO and we may not agree with him, i dont see why we've to get all hot and bothered. and at the rate this thread is going, he might retaliate at a comment or someone else might, and a card will be shown.

i disagree with him that babel is a disgrace. but im starting to agree with him regarding lucas.

He continues to impress and frustrate me in equal measure.

He clearly has talent and he seems to be stronger physically this season but his decision making is still poor at times. Yes he did really well to win the penalty but as has already been mentioned he also wasted some good possession in good areas.

He's definitely a striker though. After seeing Riera for one and a half games, Babel should never be played wide left again. Ok he may be able to play on the right but I'd like to see him used predominantly upfront.

Wow I must have been watching a different game or something. I was very happy with how we played tonight against a very tricky Marseille side. I actually thought Babel had one of the best games I've seen him play, he was chasing the ball and I really liked how he runs at the defenders. Kuyt though was terrible again, not in terms of work rate but his first touch and shot are just shocking for a premiership player, and the less said about Lucas the better but for some reason Rafa has a soft spot for both of them.

Babel does play like a doneky at times.. I think he needs more time and maturity. When you look at him sometimes he looks like he can't be bothered to chase the ball. Also his passing is not the best.
