But if he carries on slagging off his bosses then what do you think will happen, I thought rafa was smart but openly criticising your bosses is just plain dumb! And if there is one thing Rafa isn't then it's dumb, baffling yes, annoying most certainly but dumb, absolutely not.

you are right , Rafa almost looks like he is trying to get the sack, thrying to see how far he can push the owners.

I find this extremely offensive mods, there is no call for this at all. Suggesting that members on this forum go and kill themselves is surely not in line with the forum rules or spirit of open discussion. I want to see Number 9 punished for this and also Toffeehater for supporting it. I am sick and tired of these two being vugar and nasty, and never being reprimanded for it, not only to me but to any member who disagrees slightly with their view of the world!

Dont cry it was only a joke. As for asking for punisment, get a fkin life and a sence of humor.

We all have a sense of humor just not all are the same.

So you should respect that and fact some things can be offensive and not called for.

I've got a good sense of humour not sure what you've got pal if you think that suggesting someone go and kill themself is amusing ???
I'm not adverse to the odd bit of banter and I can give as well as I take but there is always a line!
In any case I won't hold my breath for an apology, only people with class and integrity would be big enough to do that, something that I know Number 9 doesn't have!
What actually pisses me off about this is that I was making a serious point and wasn't being nasty or provocative at all.

If we all got punished for bad jokes, I would have been banned long ago.

Have to say, I totally agree with this. :D

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez and chief executive Rick Parry have vowed to "move forward together" after holding clear the air talks at Anfield.

The working relationship between the two had come under pressure over Liverpool's activity in the transfer market - particularly over the Gareth Barry transfer saga.

Benitez is thought to be frustrated over the club's inability to secure one of his main targets for the summer.

But with the talks being described as "positive", Parry and Benitez are continuing to work on strengthening the squad before the window closes at the end of the month.

Benitez said: "Clear the air talks have taken place. It was a positive discussion and we will now move forward together."

Liverpool are currently focusing their attentions on bringing in a left-sided midfielder with both Albert Riera and Stewart Downing having been linked with the Reds.

Parry told liverpoolfc.tv: "I can confirm that we had a friendly and positive meeting and we're moving forward."

I´d rather have a switched on professional businessman than an older guy like Barwick. In fact the Man City CEO that Inbred mentioned a few weeks back might actually be a good choice as they have been developing quickly and with the current ownership fiasco, he might be willing to jump ship.  (One burning ship to another......)

While I agree that Barry shouldn't have posted what he did, I don't think he should be "punished" for it, but an apology might be in order. Which presumably wouldn't be a problem if he meant it in jest.

I honestly don't think Toffeehater should be punished for laughing, I think thats going a bit too far mate. We all laugh at things that maybe we shouldn't and which are inappropriate at times, I don't think anyone should be punished for having a sense of humour. Maybe we could just make him read a few of my posts as punishment  :D

Let me make this clear , heimdall , there's nothing wrong with laughing . Secondly , a forum is a place where therewill be arguments and views differ from one another , i'm sorry that i'm not a puppet and don't agree with everything you say , if you want that , why don;t you create your own forum and pick your members . You are quite obliged to leave .

Deja vu

Rafa said something similar after the Klinsmann crisis. The summer arrives, and we need to clear the air again -- making let us know the air was rarefied.

Hope this time we really move forward. It's about time.

:nod  It seems these two have clear the air talks every few months like clockwork.  Not exactly the sign of a fruitful working relationship.

Mate, I do that every night with the missus when I get home from work. Far from a fruitful relationship there, eh ?  :p
