Why should Real want to sign Owen? Can's see what he can give them which they already don't have.

I bet them buying Owen has a lot to do about politics. As I recall the President of Real stated during the election campaign that he would buy at least one world class player before kickoff of each new season. The fans loved it and now I guess he has to live up to the promises. But I have to agree that I can`t really see that Real is in desperate need of more strikers..

i would take either but with Baros as first choice for a few games to give him the run he needs and deserves.

Getting cash plus morientes would be a fantastic deal. Forget about eto, morientes is excellent at holding up the ball, good in the air and is a natural finisher AND he is vastly experienced- just the type of player we need. He is the type of player baros or cisse would love to play alongside!

10m and eto'o thats waht i'd prefer. Could be a problem with mallorca there though. Right midfield is our other problem, how about 10m, eto'o and figo?

Morientes is one hell of player in my opinion. He showed in Champs league how good he is, hes a magnificient finisher and his all round game is better than Owens. I would take cash plus this guy any day

I think it's a good deal.

Owen's messing the club around. We should accept the money plus Morientes.

Let Owen go to Real. They don't actually need anymore strikers. They already have Raul and Ronaldo. They need defenders.
