Hiemdell your a disgrace :no

A fucking disgrace.

What more do you want the man to do? We cant win the fucking European Cup every year.

He was given money in the summer and he spent in wisely.

Torres, Babel, Mash and Skertel.

Look on the brightside for a change who knows he might smile

The best way to get over a defeat is to muller Man City, who themselves are in turmoil.

Then onto Tottenham Hotsperm.

Yeah good shout lets end the season on a high. I hope Torres gets a few more before the end of the season, maybe one for Stevie too.

Then its the Euros.. Think im going to buy a Spain shirt with Torres. Long sleeve!!!!!!

hmmm CB, interesting position at the youth level for us. Of course as mentioned above, Hobbs is out on loan to Scunthorpe United, who have already been relegated and they only have one game left in their season (does that mean he would be available for Spurs?). Since I have already started with players on loan, might as well do the whole breakdown of the position at the club. Also on loan is Ghanian born Spaniard, Goodwin Antwi, who turns 20 in the summer, and was a key player for the first youth cup winning team. Last year, shortly after captaining the ressies in a game, he was sent on loan at Accy Stanly for the second half of the season and now he is at League One side Hartlepool United, where (last time I checked) he had been playing regularly. He is player of good size, but needs to grow into it much like Plessis (maybe he has, haven't seen him in a while).  The other CB on loan is Spaniard Miki Roque, who also turns 20 in the summer. He was on the first youth cup winning team, and is on loan to Xerez, a Spanish segunda team, don't see him at the club much longer.
So Centre Backs that are still here:
Mikel San Jose - turns 19 at end of the month, on bench against Chelsea in the league, also plays a bit of holding midfield

Big Ronald Huth - 2" taller and 5 months younger, and been at the club 6 months longer than San Jose. Can't really tell the difference between them as far as their performance in the reserves this year. Big Ron is a little more lively on set pieces.

Young Dani Ayala - 17 years old, held in very high regard, fcuked up badly in his last reserve game, but of late they have been movie san jose to holding midfield to accommodate for young Dani Ayala

Martin Kelly - 18 years old, doesn't play much. Can also play as a right back

BIG Joe Kennedy - 17 years old, more of a U18 player right now but he is HUGE.

I think its quite humorous that anyone that is big is called big and then whatever their name is and same with promising young players get called "young dani pacheco" like its part of their name

Overall, not overly impressed with anybody in the stable, long term best shot is Hobbs, then Ayala, but if you wanted a suggestion for City, San Jose would get the nod.

Feck me if Hobbs is the best long-term bet out of all of them we'd better have a close look at the fitness of Agger in the summer. If he ain't coming back at the start of next season, we might need another centre half.

1) I think Agger should be fine because the surgery should make him good as new, in hindsight he should have gotten the surgery right after the injury, it sounds like it is a relatively quick recovery as far as surgeries go.
2) If somehow we cannot count on him next year, then yes, we would need another addition at centre half because Hobbs or anybody else we have is not ready to be 4th choice CB
3) When I said long-term I was really referring to next season
4) I think its hard to judge defenders performances at the reserve level
4a) Defending is just as much (if not more) about NOT making mistakes as it is about doing positive and "outstanding" things. Wouldn't care if we had the best tackler in the world in the reserves if he had bad positional sense.
4b) Experience is paramount, and its just not something you get at the reserve level
4bi) you are playing less games
4bii) you are playing against lesser competition
4bii) its difficult to tell whether or not the staff at melwood rate the loan players higher than the reserve players. The loan experience seems to be more valuable in term of gaining 1st team playing experience, but you are also one step close to being sold on and at Melwood, you probably get better coaching, progress is more closely monitored and are always in with a chance to fill in if there is an injury crisis
4c) The defenders as a whole went several months without allowing a goal
5) I am probably the furthest thing from a football scout that you can find (but I have watched almost every reserve game)

Nice to see my well balanced and objective fan club back in action.

Why am I a disgrace, my post was actually positive and looking to the future, I honestly don't care about the next 2 games, they have no importance to the club whatsoever!

Oh was it the fact that I blasphemed and said something wrong about our great tactical genius and saviour that is Rafa, oh I'm going straight to hell for that one, but then I guess DIC will as well when they replace him  :D

The season became a dead duck for Liverpool on Wednesday night after losing to Chelsea.  These last two games are nothing more than a chance to see some of the young players.  Whether we win or lose it doesn't matter, some encouraging performances from the young lads would please me more than the actual result.

Oddly, I consider these last two games even more important after the Chelsea game.

We need to finish on a high.

If DIC finally manage to buy the club, as expected, then that will be high enough for me  :D

Not for me...

I will give torres and mascherano these 2 games off without a doubt..... Also add the other players who will play in the European championship and for the Olympics.

Its also time to see how nemeth, insua, the spanish maradona (forgot his name), spearing etc..how they do.

Its no use picking voronin again and again because he is $h1t.
