This is interesting though i was reading the sporting life today at work :laugh:

and The Shiekhs name doesnt crop up very often regarding us as its always his company DIC But it could look like now he might get involved.

I read the other week he payed 3 million for a camel how could anyone get the hump about him owning us, .

Gillett is expected to watch Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg at Chelsea, and the DIC contingent of Amanda Staveley and Samir Al Ansari will again be in attendance, having been Gillett's invited guests on Tuesday at Anfield.

There is also a strong suggestion DIC could buy Gillett's 50 per cent stake in the next "three or four weeks" in the belief Hicks' veto will soon expire.

And in recent days there has been a move to underline the day-to-day involvement of Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the move to buy the club, rather than a continued reference to DIC - which is in effect the royal family's investment company.

Previously the Dubai ruler has not been directly involved, but now the situation is significantly changing, and an offer could also soon be made to Hicks as well.

If you have a look at them two pics that are up they say something very different in there reactions if you get my drift

pic of Hicks and his mates looking towards the Kop faces like thunder sussing out that we hate them

Pic of Sameer sitting there looking towards the Kop well before the game had started (you can tell by the empty seats) looking comfortable knowing we want him and his company, how good he must feel

Tom and Tom Jr are the only drawn faces. Tom Sr is kinda set in stone, Tom Jr's eyes look uncertain. Compared to sh@gger Moores, Coco and DIC fellow and his bird, the Hicks' look distant.

In fact the 2 Hicks could be a photoshop addition to the picture.
