He has already been refused backing by one of Americas biggest investment giants after going cap in hand, so he obviously does not have the funds to match any D.I.C offer, why don't D.I.C just make an offer and force the greedy :censored: to have to sell up.

Can anyone clear this up ?

Hicks has denied that there is any 3 month period of grace, and says that at NO TIME can Gillett sell his half without his approval.

I presume he must have a point or Gillett and DIC would have just sat back waited for the 3 months to be up and then done a deal.

DIC pulling out could be a way to limit Hicks chances to go to a bank and say "look lend me the money because I'm just going to sell it straight away to DIC for a bigger profit". This way Hicks can't do this since the banks has heard that DIC is pulling out.

Oh right, maybe D.I.C have not made an offer then with everything that has been going on, and therefore this 3 month period has not come into play yet, or they are waiting to really shaft Hicks for being such a :censored: and offering him half of the supposed 40 Million profit he stands to make.

They said on the radio today that there are 6 people who basically make the decisions Hicks and his son, Gillette and his son, Parry and Moore's, obviously the two father and son groups will side with each other so one of them needs to get the other on their side so to speak, so Gillette sides with Parry that makes it 3 V,s 3 then its up to Moore's to decide who's side he is on and make it a 4 V,s 2 situation, vote to sell to D.I.C and it goes through, or is it not that simple  :lookaround

The last thing we need is for Rafa to ally himself to Hicks, as that would really muddy the waters and cause even more problems. At the moment for me its black and white - Hicks and Gillett need to go then we can sort out Moores and Parry. If Rafa becomes involved the whole senario changes.

I fear you´re spot on, Rafa is siding with Hicks in a marriage of convenience to oust Coco.

Better to align himself with Moores and Gillett with prior agreement to force Hicks out, for Gillett to sell to DIC and Coco to get the order of the boot. Thats the ideal end-game scenario.

If Rafa really has gone onto Hick´s side, I want to know what convinced him Hicks is the right man to rebuild this club and take us into the next 20 year period, as his actions in the last 12 months suggest he is not are not short of diabolical.

Question: Do Moores and Coco have board full voting rights on the big decisions, or just the shareholders?

1. To approve the purchase and sale of shares,
2. To sack another board member,
3. To sack the manager.

Its a joint partnership agreement between Hicks and Gillett, only they have the right to approve the sale of shares.

Appointing or sacking board members would be put to the full board.

Sacking Rafa again would be presumably a full board decision.

Rafa So Rafa has said he wants to know where he stands in his position at the club, since back stabbers went behind his back and interviewed, a very nice fella but not someone we would want as the next Liverpool manager.

We decide when the manager has to go not Parry, Moores and ecspecially not two balloon heads that havent got a clue about football never mind LFC.

All the top clubs in europe will want Rafa with his european pedigree and they will all be watching this soap opera like the next installment of Corrie.
Like Maxine should have stayed at the party Parry  should have gone with DIC

Rafa will probably issue an ultimatum now as these shenanigans have gone on long enough and dont seem to be ending any time soon.

If he walks he will lose out on 6 million and they probably dont want to pay him off, but he may turn round and say forget the money I cannot continue doing my job in these conditions.

Its no good for the players, the fans and the clubs name.

If the worst case scenario happens and he leaves now or in the summer, what manager in their right mind would want to come to a club in such turmoil?
They would say thanx for the offer but no thanx.

We would have a mass exodus of players those not good enough, those who will follow Rafa Alonso, Torres, Masch, Reina, Gerrard will probably leave aswell as the clubs changed so much and other shi.te from his private life.

It doesnt bare thinking about really but I cant stop thinking about it, the storm clouds where over Anfield for months since what was happening at the club was being played out in the media.

He said, no he did, no I didnt, yes you did, I mean come the fu.ck on this is Liverpool football club one of the most respected, famous, succesfull clubs in the world whats going on?

How has it come to this?

Through greed? Ego's?

Parry Not the most respected CEO has failed many a time, letting Owen go for such a measly fee, everytime when questioned was he going to sign a new contract, Parry said his agents on holiday, if Owens agent wasnt on holiday Parry was in the Bahama's.

The numbers game, Gerrard to Chelsea twice, Mascherano taking forever to sign, Simao, Vidic, Evra, slipped through the net Alves. Probably more players that I cant think of the top of my head.

Two years ago the Blackburn game to be played on the Hillsborough anniversary the list is endless of his failings.

But worst of all after searching the globe for 5 years for investors, from Kraft, Shinawatra, Randy Learner, some Hollywood moguls, Dic, Steve Morgan, some Norweigen millionairs, probably more.

And we end up with a pair of complete and utter nightmare investors that look like their only ambition is to ruin LFC, so after 5 years of searching this was the best he could come up with?

Doug Ellis said he saw through the pair of them after one meeting, and chose Randy Learner instead said Moores should have got on the blower to him he would have told him straight about their intentions.

But you only have to type their both names into google to find out all you need to know about them.

Gillett Probably had good intentions for us, but wasnt rich enough, his only down falls before he took over from what I can gather is that he was bankrupt twice.  Should have been a warning Parry & Moores knew about this.

Hicks Well Ive yapped on long enough if I start on him this topic will never end, due to my hatred of the man.
Its not about winning, Weetabix, investigated by the FBI for money laundering, made Bush a millionair :-X, Liverpools biggest rivals Man Ham, Liverpool Reds, I have Parrys resignation if I talk about a groundshare, I interviewed Klinnsman for Roffas job whats the problem? The stadium fiasco wasting millions on two designs then opting for the cheaper offer, yet no spade has even gone in the ground after 16 months

The list goes on and on you get me drift.

So whats going to happen next in this soap opera, circus, laughing stock episode?

Gilletts wanting out, Parry has to go for back stabbing our manager and for his utter incompetence as a CEO, Moores not that anything he says anyway matters but he has to go for selling to these cowboys.

Hicks will be the death of our club but looks like he intends on killing us.

And the best manager we have had in years looks set to look for pastures new.

I wish I could see the light at the end of the tunnel but I cant and what Ive predicted looks like is going to happen, before any smart @rse says have you got this weeks lottery numbers? no I dont, and you cant predict the future but its not looking bright its only looking in the red.

Bollox.

Why is there this myth that when a manager leaves, there will be a mass exodus of players that he has signed?  Name a top club this has ever happened at??

Did Chelsea have a mass exodus when Mourinho left? No.  Why?  Because it doesn't fu.cking happen.  If players are happy at a club, then simply a change of manager, even one they like, will not cause them to look for a transfer.

It didnt happen at Chelsea becasue they have an open cheque book so any player in his right mind would know that whatever manager comes in there will always be top class players around. Whilst we are improved on that front to som degree we still have difficulty in creating depth with quality as this seasons league performance has shown.

I just hope that Rafa is still around come the start of next season, :censored: that I hope he gets a new and improved contract in the summer. He will be again looking to assurances that the owners will be able to back him in the transfer market. Things can go tits up at any time so we just need hope that everything pans out for the best.

There is still time for it to happen at Chelsea, Maureen has not yet taken another managers job in football, he is rumoured to be taking over at Inter Milan the same place Drogba is rumoured to be going.

If Maureen had walked in to , lets just say Barcelona,Inter Milan or Real Madrid I would put money on quite a few players from Chelsea following him there, the only thing IMO that has stopped them is that he didn't.

Lets see how many join at his new club

Look at it another way then.  Valencia were an excellent side when Benitez left them, full of players he clearly rated and trusted.  How many of them did he take to Liverpool?

Answer:  None immediately, then 2 players who had lost their place in the Valencia side due to injury - Pellegrino and Aurelio.  None of the stars - Ayala, Aimar, Baraja, Vicente, Canizares that the transfer rumour pages were full of at the time.

What makes anyone think that Rafa would try to take half the Liverpool team with him if he went to another club?

Who is going to want to stay in the current climate?

Drogba is off at the end of the season thats a fact the reason he hasnt left yet is that Mourhino isnt at a new club yet, expect some Chelsea players at his next club.

Why would the players want to leave under the current climate?  It's not affecting them on the pitch, we're playing well at the moment.  The players are focussed on the pitch, they're winning games and their pay packets aren't affected either, so what's the problem?

A few Chelsea players might end up playing for Mourinho elsewhere sometime in the future, but that's not a mass exodus.  Drogba would probably be the one, but he's a bad example because he's a mercenary who has been wanting out of Chelsea for a long time, even before Mourinho left.

The players we are talking about, can adapt to continental football very easily (except maybe our captain).

The players you mention from Valencia, they would not last the physical side of the premiership.

On that note, Mourinho will only take players if he sees them fitting  into the continental style of football.

Said as iot is - as always

Rafa may well decide to walk and could take the club to an employment tribunal to get his rightful slice of the 6mill, because the club acted wrongfully in undermining his position

There will be a mass exodus - don't be fooled - the pulling power of Rafa Benitez is HUGE.. the best will go and the local lad won't wanna stay to watch another manager 'start all over again'

This situation is grave for the Club and Reds all over - If Rafa walks this will be disasterous for the clubs reputation  - managers and great payers will give us a miss like the plague - If Rafa with his record can be treated in this way... what chance someone else   :no
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

Begining of the end IMHO if this isnt sorted soon, the  most anoying thing about it for me is if he was offered a new deal i recon he`d sign it without a second thought. It comes to something it really does. :(
