hope bolton make it hard for them today . i think this is one of the few occasions in recent memory when we are facing them in the league having had a whole's week rest while they hav 3 days ..........
it SHOULD make a difference . here's hoping ...

Since rafa took over, i don't really cherish matches against manure.....

So will be skipping this match......and going away for the weekend with my GF....

Hopefully the "rotation" or "who will you replace rafa with" threads won't be at the top of this fourm when i come back this monday (as that means we have lost the match..... :p)

cheers...

We're due a break in this game, they've not only owned the fixture but all the luck as well. Bad news is the mancs may rest their key players tonight and decrease the chances of them missing Sunday.

the fact that steve bennett is the referee doesn't bode well. he's one of the worst in the league and how he gets to ref a game of such high profile after that ridiculous penalty he gave villa against boro is beyond me.

I can see Gerrard or Ferdinand getting sent off on Sunday, probably for a two footed tackle.

Cant see there being no more that 2 goals in this game for some reason.

I can't explain my confidence, but i'm sure we'll win, i don't bet often but will lump on 1-2, 0-1 to us, and a little bet, Kuyt to score 0-1  , about time he scored and he has done in some big games before.

I'd stick with the current formation, but put Babel on the right, so he isn't coming inside all the time, and shove someone else on the left...take your pick from Riise, Aurelio or even Harry Kewelll..oh wait, he's not fit? ???   ???

I think when Rafa feels there is an aerial threat he puts Carra at right back, with Hyypia and Skrtel as CB's.

Note the subtle way he's blamed Rafa for having to miss the match?  Fess up, lad--the GF cracked the whip didn't she?  ???  :D

Rock is just making a point that Rafas domestic record is terrible against the top 4 sides.

So terrible that you'd consider not watching the lads play their biggest rivals? ???
