WTF is this? "I and my colleagues and representatives will continue to explore a number of other options with regard to the ownership of Kop and the Club aimed at achieving an appropriate ownership, financial and organizational structure for Kop and the Club over the long term." Kop and club whats he on about
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Qte "What sponser will pump cash into a club attracting such bad publicity and ill-feeling from within its own fan-base?"

Answer ono-one ..Result : Hicks forced to sell up..

New owners come in who can buy the club on the cheap because we will ensure it has been devalued to the point where Hicks is desperate to sell.

The newcomers , whoever they might be will by then have realised that they need loyalty and integrity as well as the right to make money when they come into LFC ..then fans and therefore the sponsors will be right back

I honestly don't get the whole hate the yanks thing. Yeah the way the handled the Rafa situation was nothing short of disgraceful yet for me there is NO evidence whatsoever that DIC will be in anyway more reliable, more committed or more honest that Gillett and Hicks. For all we know DIC may be more cut-throat in a business sense than G&H, I haven't heard any statement of their intentions if they were to buy the club?

The short of the matter is that you rarely get owners who are as passionate for the club as the fans are, they are born and bred money makers. Selfish as it may seem can you honestly say Moores sold for the good of the club or did he do it due to a temptation to "cash in"?

I personally can't attribute another failed season to G&H, the writing was on the wall way before they arrived. Rafa's tactics have not changed much in the last two seasons. His rotation policy is still here, the only reason he stopped rotating Torres was due to fans pressure FFS!

Hicks is here to stay whether we like it or not, that much is clear form the press releases and stories in the news. Boycotting the match is pathetic and will only serve to impact negatively on the team. All the fans, especially the Kop, seem to sing about these days is the "Get the Yanks" out sh!te. At our best we were singing about team and how good we were week in week out.

Our infamous 12th man is disappearing!

What a horrible kunt this is the end of our club guys if he stays at the helm.

This is the part that I'm so confused with.  How stupid do you have to be to issue this statement before a very important game.  This guy has no idea how to run a club.

we could go to games but not purchase his merchandise, no food, no beer, no scarfs, no nothing. but then that will be hurting the club

Protests obviousley dont work.. he doesnt care... does he think that by issueing a statement like this will win us over? the damage is done....

Totally disagree there mate, the fans are the lifeblood of the club . THe reason they a calling for g+h to go ,is that they can see where the club is heading , down the swanny mate.

£30 MILLION of interest payments to find every year , the debt is on the club , we cannot afford that debt . THey haven't spent a penny of there own money , it's all borrowed ,and it's the 12th man that's going to pay the price.

Quote "Protests obviousley dont work.. he doesnt care"

You've answered your own question..

what will work with a greedy, money grabbing , wh-re? Thats right- no pay! Best way not to pay him and therefore hurt the toad - avoid a few matches. Call his bluff.

Wait until he sells, Masch, Torres and Gerrard to pay the loans.

And sacks Rafa next season and brings in Alan Curbishley or someone of that pedigree. Glory days ahead, eh!

To say the club is heading "down the swanny" is nothing short of knee-jerk. Liverpool FC have seen darker times than this. Need I mention the Souness era and finishing 8th?!!

As hard as it may be we have to avoid making emotionally led opinions and decisions. Putting aside your opinion on Hicks can you honestly say his motive is to sink the club? You talk of the debt that is borrowed against the club. But that is how the world of money works, you borrow money against your assets - it is effectively a mortgage!

No one at all would of been moaning if it wasn't for the Rafa saga over Xmas. We were all chuffed to bits that finally we had money to compete in the league with. If the Rafa saga hadn't of happened, would this vitriol exist towards the Americans? I doubt it!

At the end of the day it is financially wrong to suggest a club like Liverpool with numerous assets (Players, Stadium, "the brand") are going to fold based on valid investment. Not all Millionaires are Roman Ambramovich! You only have to look at the what American investment based on similar financial commitments are achieving successfully at Manchester United.

Your opinion is your own and although I may not support it I do respect it.
