The devil on the badge represents the equality of manchester united with satan and his many demoish minions downstairs. just like the many twisted devil worshipers accross the world it means you have to posess the same sick minded mentality to follow that pathetic excuse for a football team.

DIC taking over doesn't guarentee us not ending up like Leeds. I don't think that DIC taking over will automatically make us any better. They'll bring their own troubles and may easily make us more of a laughing stock. Saying that, surely they have to be better than the yanks don't they ???
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Thats sort of the way I am thinking, are we just getting washed along on a sea of determination to get G and H out at any cost, there are no guarantees but I have my fingers crossed that things can only get better. I will be happy for us to be run like the great club we are and if unlimited transfer funds are made available then all the better :;):

I dont think so, I dont think they will put us in debt, they have more money than RA.

That's all well and good but that doesn't mean us turning out even worse. IF they give us unlimited transfer funds and we're still a mile off winning the league, they're not going to waste more money on a failure. Instead they'll just pull the plug and leave us with 10/15 superstars demanding in the region of 80K a week and we won't be able to afford it. So it's not a gaurenteed success.

you know what fooking Domestos wouldnt shift these two parasites.

if D.I.C are unsuccessful then we the fans have to take action far and beyond anything we have seen so far, no fooking way should we sit by and let these two fookers continue to take us for a ride.

im so mad right now that if hicks walked past me i would not stop hitting him.

Here's some more interesting reading, seems like a deal is far from over. Hicks is being a fat little Pr*i*ck and this was taken from another site by a poster called dmjn100.

£217mill . (this is the profit Hicks & Gillette stand to make)

Not a bad profit huh? for less than 11 months in charge.

Anyways - what i understand is Geoege Gillett is in London right now - in a hotel in Mayfair and is negotiating with senior reps from DIC.

PCP led by Amanda Staveley are also there acting as the intermediaries & discussions are said to be going to continue until an agreement is thrashed out.

DIC are said to be prepared to get Gillett's shares first - then work on Hicks.

From what I have seen with this this afternoon - Tom Hicks was speaking for George Gillett when he said that the deal was rejected - something he has no right to do.

I have spoken with Martin Lipton in the last hour & he says that Hicks will not be able to match the offer made by DIC and in turn that will allow Gillett to speak with DIC.

Im getting stuff on this every 10 mins & this is far from dead & buried.

So pool fans - dont fret just yet.

I know this Nanny, but another of my posts explains why I'm nervous of their takeover. IF they give us the open cheque book many are expecting and we bring in for arguement's sake Eto'o, Villa, Lahm and Silva YET still don't win the league. So they give us another open cheque book for the 2009/10 season and we buy Lennon, Richards, Pato and Kaka YET still don't win the league. Then another open cheque book for 2010/11 and we bring in Messi, Benzema, Ben Arfa and Owen (for his final years) YET still don't win the league. They're just going to pull the plug and leave us having to find wages for the 12 I've mentioned as well as Torres, Gerrard, Mascheranho, Reina, Agger, Skrtel, Lucas, Babel and Carragher.

If they take over, it'll be more imperitive for us to win the league to ensure they don't pull the plug and leave us in huge amounts of debt. That's why me nerves are janglling at the thought.

If the scenario you describe actually happened, (what a shame that would be, to have lots of money!!) what do you mean pull the plug? Just leave the Club? I don't think so. If they were dissatisfied the worst they could do is to sell us, and then at a price that was viable to another investor. And if you ever get over to Dubai, you'd see all they want is to ber the best, they want the best hotels, the tallest towers, some of the stuff over there is unbelievable. My gut feeling is that they want LFC as a status symbol, to enhance their name. Plus (and i know everyone says they are) we have fans as part of DIC, which cannot be a bad thing.
The only downside would be if they put their logo on our shirt :D
