I just hope that Rafa does not tinker with the side too much due to the match with Newcastle on Saturday and then Inter Milan on the following Tuesday. I strongly feel that we need to set our best 11 and keep that 11 through the next three matches. Go into Inter Milan flowing!
We need to get a result here and kick us on for the weekend to put pressure on other teams, hope he sticks with pretty much the same team, maybe Lucas in for Xabi and Carra back to the heart of our defence and hopefully Agger on the Bench.
Id like to see Rafa continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation he's used in the last couple of games. I know this is being discussed i another thread so i wont go into too much detail about the pro's and con's but i feel that the formation is working well for us (so far) and i think its bringing the best out of the likes of Babel, Gerrard, Kuyt and even Aurelio to an extent who i think is starting to look like he should be our permant left back. Rafa said he is not going to mess with his best team as much for the rest of the season so i think that at the moment we are seeing what Rafa believes are our best formation and personnel in them positions. As for the team...
It's the start of three very winnable back to back home games in the League. West Ham have got injuries galore and are coming off the back of a 4-0 hammering by Chelsea.
So expect a 1-1 draw.
No seriously, we should win this comfortably. Personally, I'd like to see Crouch get a runout upfront. Go back to 4-4-2 and give Benayoun a run out against his former club aswell. As well as Mascherano has been playing, I don't see why we should need him against West Ham at Home when we'll probably have 60%+ of the possession.
but in reality we all know rafa will drop key players and rotate a bit. he'll enter this game thinking of the upcoming games and we'll struggle to a scrappy 1-1 or a flukey 1-0w lol
nah, seriously, should be convincing tonking - 5-0w (Torres 2, Kuyt, Gerrard and a late one by crouch)
West Ham are not in the best of form lately but make no mistake about it, they're no pushovers..... Theres ability in their squad and our recent home form has not exactly been sterling.... so I expect a tough match. They did beat us 1-0 at Upton Park after all....
We should win it though but a lot rides on whether we rest up players or not....
2-0 is about the best result I can forsee..... Gerrard and Torres
West Ham haven't won at Anfield since the early sixties, I hope we stick with a very similar side although Carra at RB isn't my first choice and one striker on the bench isn't either.
Could go down to the wire and European distraction, the bitters have to play us and Arsenal away plus Chelski at home, but we have to play the mancs and Arsenal away
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
3-2. Torres, Kuyt and Alonso for us...Ferdinand twice both from corners for them.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Good point Reg, the Hammers are a decent footballing side , on their day they can turn anyone over , including us. I expect a win but only by the odd goal .
