the fact is rafa hasnt worked out the premiership yet

and this is why the "rafa out" brigade are questioning him

we see no evidence yet that he is suited to the premiership

in europe though no man can doubt that he tactically outwits every top manager going.

The Team may be schizophrenic in terms of performance on the pitch but thats nothing compared to some of the comments on here since Saturday.

I was gutted on Saturday as well especially after seeing the Mancs slaughter Arsenal 4-0 straight after our defeat but where were the cynics when United got stuffed 4-1 at HOME against Coventry in the Carling Cup ?

I was still smarting on Sunday and even worse after reading some of the disrespectful comments on here so I put my Shankly Tapes on and listened to someone who spoke more sense in a moment than many of us do in a lifetime ! :D

Wenger had a terrible season with Arsenal last season and not one was calling for his head.

Ibrahimovic is the the best forward and football player in the world. He is simply pure world class. Brilliant. His touches, vision, creativity, shots, dribbling, technical ability and strength on the ball is simply all incredible and at times unseen before on football fields. He changes games at every moment by himself.

Nobody is constantly class. Only Zanetti played on his real level tonight. Facts are you got lucky against 10 men for 2/3 of the game very late in the game against an Inter that probably played their worst game of the season.

As an Inter fan for years I can only say FORZA MATERAZZI.

See you in Milan. Hopefully the ref will have some class. We don’t need him to win.

Your teams ‘attacks’ made me laugh.

Great performance from the boys tonight... gotta say I wasn't looking forward
to the match tonight.. had a bad feeling about it after our recent performances.

On another note, was it just me or did Gerrard seem to have a slight dig at Rafa in his post match interview??  When asked by the interviewer if Rafa deserved a special mention he said with a wry grin "I don't think we can single out any 1 person for praise, it was a team effort".  Possibly a dig at all the times Rafa has said the same about Gerrard.

"Ibrahimovic" - Was he playing tonight??

"Inter that probably played their worst game of the season" - Thats because you were playing a real blood and guts football team. This is what it is all about.

"Your teams ‘attacks’ made me laugh". - Glad to hear they brought joy to you because they certainly worked for me

BY THE WAY, THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

I don't think Gerrard's mind works that way.

I think he honestly meant that everyone worked together for the result.
