Just what we needed tonight, I'm bloody ecstatic here.

There's no doubt that the sending off was harsh, but at the same time Inter got the benefit of the doubt over 2 clear hand-balls inside the box.  I'm not saying they were both definite penalties, but some refs would have given at least one of them.  Vieira's one I think most refs would have given.

We played well and although we had to wait for the goals, we deserved it.  No one has been more critical of Kuyt than me this season but I also doubt anyone was more pleased for him tonight.  I still don't think he's LFC material but he made a big contribution tonight and he deserves the praise.

Mascherano was fantastic again and once again Gerrard got the crucial goal.

I fancy us to go through now.  Won't be easy over there but I think we'll be alright.

Get in!!! :buttrock

Well i dont care if i get slated for saying this but weve got the best :censored: manager i dont want no other man at our club than the one weve got now.

And i said before make Masher captain, director.chairman, give him what ever he wants to stay at this club.

And ive got to give a mention here to Dirk Kuyt worked his socks off again but can certainly cross a ball and it was his goal . Im not havin any deflection thingy well played Dirk lad

How is it, tonight we don't mind going to Milan in front of 90,000+ for a second leg battle, but then again we wouldn't really fancy going away to Barnsley or Havant and Waterlooville in front of 900 ???

lol.

Funny old game.

WHat really cheeses you off dude, is when in Europe, some falls over when the wind changes direction, the Referee will just award a free kick no probs.

A lot of fre kicks were given to inter tonight, when no cantact has been made. as long as you roll over and hold your shins , you are gonna get a free, no worries.

its a scam.
