The fact that this has once again come from Hicks and not Gillett may indeed be telling...

I don't think is the end of this... by a long way. Until we hear directly from DIC that they are no longer pursuing investment then I think there is still a chance.

It could all be part of Hick's plan to drive up the sale cost. If you were selling something and you knew there was somebody interested, what would be the best way of getting the most out of it? Saying nothing? Issuing a statement saying that discussions were ongoing?

my big worry is that they are trying there best to end rafa's reign at liverpool...

like i said the ball will roll once a bid is made by DIC...

What a shi.tty night think I'll drown me sorrows.

I still cling to hope because DIC havent come out and said they are NOT interested in buying us.

That wouln't happen. Think about compensation packages etc to Rafa and his back room staff - remember it cost the club around £10 million to see Houllier off. Any compensation packages paid would come off any money paid for the club so they would lose out financially - one thing that the Americans do know about is the colour of money.

alrite this has turned into a needless drama from my point of view......things are coming out in the press which are just adding to the pressure on our team. its all just dumb and someone should be shot for it.

DIC like liverpool and want in, we already knew that, both sides are just interested in us as a company to "own"..........we're not gonna win either way.

Its just a total mess.Sad really that we are all clinging to the hope that DIC can buy us and save us from the yanks,but in reality no one knows they will be any better!

LFC is to good for the yanks or the Arabs in my opinion,whichever way we look at it we are gonna end up a rich mans plaything.
And whoever ends up owning us will always care about money than LFC or what the fans think.
Bottom line is business men of this calibre are ruthless selfish kunts and most would sell their granny if they could make money!

Nowhere does this frog molesting toerag say he WILL be the owner and he WON'T sell if he DOES receive an offer.
