Playing at home first then away worries me.

We need to beat the hell out of whoever we gonna play with at Anfield.
Just need to continue scoring right down to extra time (after 90mins that is).
No mercy.

Draw doesn't really bother me. Nobody (and i mean nobody) in that first seeded group will want to play us (or arsenal for that matter).

As many on here I would also like to see us play Real Madrid.  We have not played them for a very long time and it would be great two matches.  But a second one I would like is Ac Milan mainly for revenge.  We are a European powerhouse now and we should not be afraid of anyone and at the same time not underestimating any other team because anything could happen.

Not bothered who we get from a footballing point of view, TBH.  Last year I was bricking it when we drew Barca and we saw how that turned out.  As long as the lads are focused, we're the team to beat no matter who we play.

In terms of traveling support, though, I'd prefer to avoid a trip to Italy.  I don't think Milan is as dangerous a destination as, say, Rome, but Italian ultras are always a danger and their policing is a farce.  A nice trip to Spain is what I'd prefer for those traveling for the away leg. :nod

The draw shows the benefits of winning the group, especially being away first, the team should have performed better earlier to ensure top spot. That said i don't really fear anyone, over two legs i see us getting past any of the teams.

I would like Real Madrid, as I think we could beat them over two legs and it would be such a huge game. I don't really want an Italian side, I don't fancy Barca as I think they would be on fire for revenge, and Sevilla would be very very dangerous underdogs.

I cant really choose any of them as the team I would prefer to play or avoid what will be will be. We NEVER do things the easy way anyway :) I am just glad we are still in it.

A few weeks ago we were out of this competition, or so said the media and rival supporters who thought they knew better. We done the hard work and made it look simple at the same time by simply blowing away the last three teams. I don't care who we get. If we continue on as we have in our past few games, we'll smoke whoever we draw. The bigger the better. We are the team to beat.

But you have to admit, there are some weak teams in the 2nd pot...

Schalke
Olympiacos
Celtic
Fenerbahçe

Celtic are class .....

Out of the teams we can get I'm with Bad bob, I don't mind who we play against. It'sthe CL so if we have to do it the hard way then so be it. I'd rather play a Spanish side than an Italian one IMO

Hi Sandra,

I think Torres is not very wellcome in the Real Madrid Stadium...but this not apply to you ;-) . Lets see...

Real played very good yesterday.

cheers
Paloma

If there is someone looking down on us please let it be Madrid pulled out of the hat, I want Torres to go there and ram it down there throats
