If these two sack rafa well theres no way back for them is there?

Who knows. But I think hes just a ticking time bomb now. It will be a dark day over the club but we have to believe we can come back.

Rafa will always have the respect of everyone connected with LFC but if it happens it happens, theres nothing we can do.

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Comment on S@ints last article regarding the sources close to Rafa:

Actually I think that Rafa can live with that degrade to head coach. Meaning, there are not managers in Spain. Rijkaard, Schuster, Aguirre, Koeman and every other important team's managers are head coaches, they do not deal with signing ups.

They can REQUEST signing ups, but they have to work by request. Basically Rafa is accepting to be a coach like in his country. It shows aswell that he's stubborn, but not too arrogant, as he admits the degrade so that he can stay in this club that he clearly loves.

Graham Hunter says friends of Rafael Benitez have noticed him become increasingly "difficult and demanding" since he went to Liverpool.

Benitez's future at Anfield is reportedly in the balance after a falling out with Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett over the club's transfer policy.

And Spain-based journalist Hunter says people who know Benitez can sympathise with the American billionaires because the Spaniard's personality has changed significantly in the last few years.

He told Sky Sports News: "The greater deal of support for those who know Rafael Benitez here in Spain, is actually with the owners of Liverpool Football Club.

"Many people think that Benitez has changed significantly since he went to Liverpool. They explain this is why so many of his friends and supporters have left the club.

"They find him difficult and demanding - in a positive way sometimes because he wants the best for Liverpool - but also they think that he has become a man they don't recognise wholly.

"Therefore, some understand why the owners are frustrated with his constant push, push, push in the transfer market.

"This is the reason that Spain is cocked and ready for Rafa Benitez surprisingly departing Liverpool one way or another."

So Rafa can do no wrong then can he??? That is silly if he is p1ssing everyone off then that is no good at all, and certainly this season he has been acting like a spoilt child, tell me something how long would you keep your job if you were publicly taking the p1ss out of your bosses, I suspect not too long, I know I wouldn't!
Rafa needs to chill out a bit and not wash the clubs dirty linen in public.

Having said all this I really hope he guides us to a win tonight, I'm already really nervous about this game.

No one I know had said Rafa is not a fool for doing it hte way he did, but hindsight may prove that if he hadnt, and behind the scenes theny got rid, we would not have had the chances we have (like tonight) to let the mknow its not our wishes.

The question is, will Rafa do what Mourinho and Pardrew couldnt do - keep their jopbs despite falling out with the people who pull the purse strings.

im so :censored: of this has happened. I never would have imgagined this situation when they took over.

It wasn't that long ago that the new owners were practically on thier knees giving Rafa a  :bowdown . Perhaps Rafa forgot about the short attention span Americans are renowned for, and he took the showering of love and awe seriously. Rafa recently said "There are many opinions but in the end it's only mine that counts" . Sorry Rafa but a reality check is required here, first off Never believe your own publicity and secondly always remember "He who pays the piper calls the tune". Diplomacy is obviously not Rafa's strong point , the only way Rafa's gonna win this one is by ditching the sound bites to the worlds media and getting his team to do the talking on the pitch.

I'm hoping his and our team do all the required talking tonight.

If that had read Guillem Balague, then maybe I'd have actually taken it seriously.

Friends of Rafa? And unnamed too? Yeah, real friends.  ???
