a small part of me wants him to go mate, its his stubborness that worries me, it was the same with houllier and that was his downfall, a large part of me wants him to stay and bring the league home but i am worried that he still doesnt realise what it takes to win the league here and his refusal to change his methods makes me think he will never bring it back.

i know many people when they argue this point say they want him to stay and justify their argument with "who would we replace him with", to me this is the wrong attitude, there are plenty of managers who could replace him and maybe bring success, and maybe they will flat on their faces. i don't have a crystal ball murph but i can see whats happening at the club now.

i think rafa is stupid taking the owners on in this way, there will only be one winner and possibly many losers, if he had delivered us a title and we were in a stronger position in the CL then i feel he could question them and they would be compelled to listen, these guys are no mugs in the business world and i am sure they are learning the football world, but whichever world they are dealing in such a display of pettulance by an employee is uncalled for and i am certain in any other industry he would be on his way out of the door now, its all well and good questioning the owners but to do it in such a public and immature fashion has not helped rafa one bit.

what comes first for me is LFC, not rafa benitez, not G + H, i want the club to get back to where it was, if thats without rafa then so be it, if its with rafa then so be it, but he needs to learn a few lessons in my opinion.

personally i feel he is looking for a way out of the club with his big pay off, i think he knows for him to win the league he will have to go back on his philosophy and lose face. he is trying to force the owners hand in my opinion and make them out to be the bad guys when they fire him while hoping people forget his discussions with real madrid and bayern munich.

just my opinion mate, it may be wide of the mark, it may not be wide of the mark. i get the impression the club is not a happy place, rafa has already put us in jeapordy for a silly reason with forcing pako out because he was pally with jose, and rafa has also put us in a strange position with his refusal to change a system that does not work.

in my opinion rafa thinks he is bigger than the club however many soundbites he gives about the club and the fans etc, thats all PR in my opinion

Peewee lol you funny fuc.ker.

Thats the biggest load of shi.te i have ver read in my life.  Rafa got rid of Pako casue he was Muuriinho's mate.  Fu.ck me lad was you the fly on the wall when they had this fall out.

To say Rafa is stubborn to the same point as Houlier is ludricous.  Houllier was that stubborn I dont think he ever sold one of his own signings.  Where as Rafa has got rid of a few now when hes realised that hes made a mistake and tere not good enough.

People like you to me arent fans.  What RAfa has acheived here for us deserves respect mate.  And you quite simply havent got one iota.  You want to get rid of a manager who has won us our 5th European cup, nearly a 6th european cup aswell.  An FA Cup, A super cup, not to mention getting us to another domistic cup final.  Also winning the most points we have evr managed to get during one full premiership season.

Your not a fan.  I dont care what you say mate.

As for Gillet and Hicks there fu.cking gob s h ites.  I cant wait till wednesday cause if that Gillet fellas son is  at the front of the kop like he has been for a few games now.  Ill fu.cking let him know what the REAL supporters think of this sham.

did you actually read my post murph or just read the first part and decide to go off on one.

and if you want to talk about support sunshine lets put our experiences on the table, i am sure at my age and my 5 years out of england it will still take you 10 years to catch up so to question my support is insulting to the extreme.

i will reiterate that a small part of me wants him to leave because i just don't think he has it in him to deliver the PL. and i suppose pako just left for no reason eh and the reports about the reason were just made up, hey maybe that was a lie and pako is still there. (or maybe you can fill us all in on the reason as obviously you are in the know on this and must have been in the room when all this happened)

so just to get this straight, despite my many years of being a fan you are suggesting that i am now not a fan because i have an opinion different to yours, hey maybe all new fans should get clearance from you first on the understanding they ignore the obvious and just have blind praise for everything, even the fact we are nearly out of this years CL, yes he won it in his first year so surely going out in the group stage this year shows just how far backwards he has taken us.

so murph as for the biggest load of sh*t you have ever read, i suggest you read your post back to yourself and you will have broken two records in one day, good work feller    :D

Listen sunshine, hahahahahahah.

Just to get this straight in my opinion you are not a fan.  And my opinion that is the worst post I have read in a long time.

Can I not have my opinion about this cause im not an old timer with x amount of years on the planet?

Thanks for that.

Ill let you know that you say NEARLY, NEARLY out of Europe.  Like we was when we won it in 2005.

Digging us out of this Champions League hole we are in would do wonders for Rafa's stock.

Is Mourinho a good manager? Arguably at Porto, probably not at Chelsea. Porto is a massive Portugese club, so he won the Champions League - so what? He won it when all the 'big guns' were firing blanks, they beat MONACO in the final ffs who had previous of two semis. Porto have been to the QFs and semis pretty regularly

2003/4 Champions League

Winners > Porto
Runners-Up > Monaco
Semis > Chelsea under Ranieri, Deportivo La Coruna

Quite possibly the weakest semi final line-up ever, Ranieri did a decent job at Chelsea but that aside the rest were dross. Milan, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Lyon made up the QFs and those would have made for a better semi and final - had they not misfired badly enough to lose. And make no mistake, 2003/4 apart Milan have a record of 2002/3 Winners, 2004/5 Runners-up, 2005/6 semi and 2006/7 Winners - and the semi final defeat was an aggregate 0-1 loss to BARCELONA

And all he did at Chelsea was throw plenty of cash at an already expensive team and won two league titles. Or put another way it's funny how his record got worse over time not better. When fergie spent money on a smaller scale and Mourinho got his transfers all wrong, then Chelsea limped home second. Truth is only Arsenal have actually won the league, Man Utd and Chelsea have thrown cash at it and taken most other teams out of the equation

What info are you on about el wise one?

just my opinion mate, it may be wide of the mark, it may not be wide of the mark. i get the impression the club is not a happy place, rafa has already put us in jeapordy for a silly reason with forcing pako out because he was pally with jose, and rafa has also put us in a strange position with his refusal to change a system that does not work.

in my opinion rafa thinks he is bigger than the club however many soundbites he gives about the club and the fans etc, thats all PR in my opinion

Like we was when we won it in 2005.

well thats your opinion however wrong you are, not to worry, i know who i am and what i am and i dont need you to tell me i am a fan, i know where i have been and what i have seen, ok sunshine.

you have fun in the kop this week showing what a great fan you are by slagging the owners son, yet you say i am not a fan because a small part of me wants rafa out. also you seem to think you know all desopite getting your info from the same places as me but yet you say my info is wrong. (still waiting for you tell me why pako left oh superfan great fountain of knowledge)

work it out mate  then we have a discussion, a proper discussion without petty insults.

ok sunshine   :Oo:

Heres the superfan great fountain of knowledge's opinion ont he Rafa-Pako fall out.  The fact of the matter really is I dont know. As I werent there.  So for the simple reason I dont know, I wont comment on it,  but I heard the other the day the really reaosn why they fell out was because Rafa pisssssed on his toilet seat.  When he went round for his tea.  Point being I havent got a jar of glue whats happened but just cause on the grapevine someones said this happened dosnt mean it has lol

What info are you on about el wise one?

And were have I once said I was going to sl.ag the boss's son of?

Petty insults...........................................................................superfan great fountain of knowledge  :bowdown

As for Gillet and Hicks there fu.cking gob s h ites.  I cant wait till wednesday cause if that Gillet fellas son is  at the front of the kop like he has been for a few games now.  Ill fu.cking let him know what the REAL supporters think of this sham.

ah well, someone must have pinched your log in mate and wrote this on the previous page   :D

I still cant see were it says im going to slaggg Gillets son off.

CAn anyone else?

Yes, if he is there ill let him know what i think of the hole sham.  And I probably wont be the only one either.  I actually respevt his son more cause he actually goes the match.  where as Gillet and Hicks have only been once all season.  And they compare this great club to :censored: weetabix's.

i think you mean whole sham, and i guess now you are going to sit with him and have a decent chat as oppossed to 'fu.cking let him know what the REAL supporters think', yeah murph whatever, i think we have wasted enough time going backwards and forwards here, i also still think you didnt read my initial post, thats obvious by your comments, i dont know if you notice nobody else has joined in with you, maybe they read it and actually understood it. i get the impression you want to play mind games and try and shift meanings, no problem, been there and done that many times before and you will lose as i guess you don't really have the brainpower to play the game properly.

lets just leave it there eh before it gets boring for everyone else  :;):

No Bascombe is on it himself and said he is 100% positive Rafa will be sacked.

Either he has climbed in bed with the devil and is lying or he still is in the know of whats happening at the club.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

They should not sack Rafa before it is clear we won't win the league this season, we had one manager leave while we were set to win the league and that departure signalled the beginning of the end.

You do have to wonder what planet these yanks are on, of course Rafa wants to strengthen the team and squad and it would be decidedly stupid to look at players only during the transfer windows. There's no point him looking at buying say Ronaldinho if in January the owners will say "no way, too expensive". He wants to gauge his spending budget now so he knows who he can look at, that is not unreasonable. He's not going to ask on January 1st "so how much can I have?" and work from there, he needs to have his targets watched NOW and until January to assess his targets, no good looking at them for a few days or weeks in January.

I bet the problem is the yanks don't fancy spending any more money and they're evading the issue because they are worried it will upset the applecart. Rafa is right to challenge them now, he needs to know and if they're not going to be open about it then I think we're in sh1t
