but manhatten, you won't win the champs league either, you got lucky in a very good match against Milan, but all it was was luck. It won't happen again. So thats a very very poor excuse.

The comparison is meaningless, because it convieniently avoids the era of Liverpool's dominance. By the same logic, I could say that during the last say four decades, LFC have been far superior. It all depends on which era one wishes to compare.
