Having seen how Valencia outplayed Liverpool home and away, I will trust Benitez to get it right.

I remember the main threat from Valencia then was a Pablo Aimar. I really want him here to supply our forward, esp. Owen.

Yes santa, would go for a double raid! er, if u get my drift! ayala and aimar, davids if at all possible and buy carr from spurs so a little something like this

I agree with stmichael that malbranque is class plus the bonus of him being fully familliar with the Primiership. He would come with a ridiculous price tag, I concur.

yes keep the ideas coming,valencia did out play us and home and espically away so i really think we have got the right man for the job,love to see him bring in some la liga talent,ie baraja espically,alonso,angle,aimar,ayala.

read in the paper today that villa wanting to swap juan pablo for milan baros,what do u think bout this personally id tell them where to go!

is anyone else waiting for benitez to make his move just hope he moves quicker in the transfer market,2 weeks til pre season training starts!

I reckon Benitez has a few trick's up his sleeve.

Ive got this really good feeling that Baraja will be here next season, hopefully Aimar and Ayala will follow and of course the possibility of Canizarez. I think it would be important to keep good quality player's for back up such as Henchoz and Hamann. My ideal starting line up would be:

                  Dudek.

Finnan.   Hyypia.   Ayala.   Carragher.

Aimar.    Gerrard.     Baraja.    Kewell.

             Cisse.     Owen.

Then you have the following as back up / sub's:

Kirkland and possibly Canizarez.
Riise.
Henchoz.
Hamann.
Smicer?
Baros.

Then you have exciting young prospect's in:
Otsemobor.
Le Tellec.
Sinama Pongolle.
Partridge.
