2. arsenal think you can win games by walking the ball into the net and try being to fancy.
3. chelsea are choke artists.

barca also are guilty of overplaying on occasions an thats where they'll come unstuck if anywhere plus there defence is shaky in europe

I don't agree with that assessment. You're optimistic and that's great but we have the toughest draw.

Manure have done alright in Europe this season, they can easily beat Lille imo. Arsenal have somewhat of a difficult draw because PSV have experience in the knockout stages but I would rather play Lille and PSV than Barca.

barca must be careful because they r basing their whole game on their attacking force. yes it is amazing, but carra and co will definitely be up for the task, and im convinced agger may get a chance and prove to the world that he really is gonna be one of the best defenders in the world. at camp nou they are gonna be surprised by the pace of bellamy and gerrard. they r not expecting to concede at home, but im sure they will...their defence leaks when eto'o, messi, ronaldinho, deco and xavi play together...we will break it.... :blues:

The key is for us to keep a clean sheet at their place. If not, at least score ourselves and keep it a draw.

They have too much talent for us to focus on solely one player. For instance we can mark Ronaldinho all we want but there's also Messi,Eto'o,Deco,etc..

It's going have to be a team effort and we're going have to play with 200% effort and with no mistakes.

That's not entirely easy to do against Barca at their own ground.

I like the optimism but come on be a bit realistic.

i didn't say that we were gonna win it...all i said is that we will score 1 away from home, and that may be key in our quest to win the tie over two legs

It will make no difference if we score away if the final score at their place is 3 or 4 to 1.

You need to win the midfield battle at the Camp Nou. Teams that pack the midfield tend to do better against us. If you play 5 to our 3 you have a chance of a 0-0 i reckon. How many of you would take that now? I reckon nearly everyone would. I'll be happy with any result that doesn't include you scoring.

I have to admit though, i don't give you any chance of a win in the Camp Nou. And i say that without being disrespectful.

I can't see us winning at Camp Nou either to be honest. But a win isn't needed to get us a result. In fact we don't have to beat you at all to get through

A 2-2 result would be perfectly fine.

:D

I suspect that Benitez will play five in the middle because Sissoko will we back by then.

Barca have always played the attacking game. To some Cules, the way Barca play is more important than the result.

i would definitely take 0-0. but i dont think barca will put more than 2 past us....with the players up for such a big game, we wont lost by more than a goal if we do...i honestly believe we'll get a 1-1 draw... :blues:

i see your point A.B. being honest i would rather have any other side innit than play barca i watch them every week on sky an they are impecable but not unbeatable when i first heard the draw i thought, thats it we,re out but now i think we have a chance yes if im honest it envolves barca playing badly at home an then one the special anfield nights but we can do it

Whatever it takes to win huh?  :;):

Although Liverpool could be the easier team to face, Benitez is probably the worst manager to face.

thats just ridiculous though...surely if you r a true supporter you'd rather your team played badly and won than played well but lost!!

ya...im pretty sure we'll play 5 in the midfield with momo back, with gerrard allowed to mark ronaldinho as well as roam :buttrock

Rafa has probably been studying you lot since the draw has been made. His attention to detail is amazing.

Haven't been this excited about a game since Istanbul to be quite honest. I don't know what it is about it, it just makes me all tingly inside  :D

That is just the pressure some of the fans put on the team. Some won't turn up simply to see the team win, they want the team to play the Barca way.
