Though his stats are by all accounts good, I have yet to see Trezuguet have a good game. His performances for Juventus in the Champions League against English clubs and in the World Cup were pretty insipid for me. Similarly, Kuyt was unimpressive but the manager has been on his trail for over a season now. Unlike our previous manager, you can at least be safe in the knowledge that his admiration of the player has been backed up by meticulous research with every detail examined under the scope.
He didn't look like much in germany but better players than he will ever be were similarly unimpressive. We need four strikers it's as simple as that really. IMHO you can't count Pongolle who isn't going to be good enough or the greek fella or the kid who scored the other day. The manager believes Kuyt is the final piece in the jigsaw this summer, it's good enough for me.
