This is a tough game indeed. Were struggling to create much up front. And Cisse just run the ball to no one. I didt see who was on the bench but I think Garcia should come on for Cisse or Crouch. I suspect they will change a formation to that whehn they played Newcastle to allow Alonso a more direct role.

Thanks for the link bavLondon  :)

I didnt get to see to much of the game because the internets on the blink here, never the less a good result.

Nice one Robbie  :buttrock

Poor game, excellent result, p1ss poor crowd, as usual against lowbrow opponents.

Much better 2nd half, for about 25 mins at least. Another clean sheet, number 24 for the season.

Roll on Rovers.

HAPPY B'DAY ROBBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great result! Great that God got to score on his birthday.

I was actually more dissapointed of the fans today. You could actually here the managers screaming without to much trouble.

Playing out of position or not Cisse was p1ss poor today and there can be very little excuse from him over it. His whole attitude was very much - 'I did enough last week so why bother this week' - which is out of order. There was one instance when he'd switched to the left and Xabi passed the ball to him from the centre of the pitch; Djib lost out and just stood there watching the bolton player run off with it and then who comes and tackles him?? Xabi Alonso; NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER in my book.

Good result against a tough team and another 3points in the bag.

Many happy returns GOD.

Worst performance of the season, but 3 points in the bag.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Does anyone reckon part of the poor performance was due to the fact Sissoko wasn't in the middle and Gerrard wasn't on the right.

Or was it just a general poor team performance ?

Not that I'm complaining more analysing  :)

Yes, if gerrard was on the right and hamann or sissoko was in the middle, we would have deffo won by more goals...

But winning with a pi$$ poor performance........isn't that stuff of champions (2006 FA Cup champion) ?  :;):

I actually don't think the performance what that bad. Bolton are no mug side, even though there in bad form, and they always give us a game whenever we play them. Last year we got a 1-0 and it was also a very gritty game.

Alll that matters to me are the three points, and a nice little side note was that Robbie getting on the scoresheet again.  If he keeps it up, he will definetly get a new contract. With a injury free pre season behind him, Robbie Fowler next season certainly excites me!!

Cisse was disapointing today. I am not Cisses biggest fan but some of the views people have posted on here has made me see his plight in a different light. I was really happy for the lad after West Brom because he was our best player, but the inconsistency that has plagued his Liverpool career , let him down again.

Harry is looking better and better and today, hit the nail on the head for me that, Steven Gerrard should always play on the right for Liverpool, Momo and Xavi in the middle gives me a lot more confidence. Not a knock on Steven, he is our best player by a mile, but he gives us great balance on the right and his inside darting runs are a joy to watch.

We could've used a favour from Arsenal today, but seeing as though they've just lost 2-0 to Man U, it looks like the race for 2nd is all but over.

Very disappointed with Wenger - Henry only played for the last 20 mins.

Good result against a bogie side.

Fowler took his Birthday goal well, and Alonso deserved a goal. Immence as usual.

Jabba and his minnions no longer have a physical edge over us.

Teehee. :D

Crouch was useless, Fowler would have scored more if he wasn't getting his way.
