whilst its possible it is unlikely...atm we look poo, but even like that we have individuals and the defence to win every game by one goal.

dont get me wrong, stevie g, carra, xabi and pepe reina are all world class talents...but it wont be until talents like gonzalez emerge or you buy one more top class attacker like simao aswell as getting some cover at the back that you emerge as the top, top side you are destined to be.

top 3 with players like traore at the back is a brilliant return and its remarkable just how much life rafa is squeezing out of your squad.

FACT - Chelsea aren't as good as the Arsenal side of 2002/03 or the united side of 1999. A decent side yes but with every position filled twice by internationally recognized players it's little wonder they are beating all comers (except LFC in the CL of course

)

Tonights game was proof positive of how far LFc have come in sucha short time and all this done without Alonso and an established number 9

I'm liking how every player gets back for the corners now, while it limits counter-attacking opportunities, its helping our clean sheet record.

Chelsea are probably just a bit too consistent to drop the necessary points required for us to overtaken them and win the league BUT having said that, it is possible. All it will take is some disgruntled players talking out of school or a ego getting bruised with a misjudged substitution and this is how disatisfaction creeps in, moral deteriorates and hey presto...loosing streak (loosing points).

It is POSSIBLE!!

As much as I would over the moon, I would be satisfied with top 3 possibly 4.
