Well, I had a friend that was arrested at home (some sort of Spanish juditial punishment) for a punch, that certainly was nastier and dangerous than a punch in the face. So yes, he should be arrested, it's an agression since it cannot be considered a sport action.:)

Remember the Bowyer/Dyer incident? Happened on the pitch so some were saying that it shouldn't be taken to court while others did want it to be judicially handled.

The kind of thing that Essien did can end a person's career. Although unlikely, I hope that UEFA charge Essien with violent conduct.

Dalglish wrote:FACT - Chelsea aren't as good as the Arsenal side of 2002/03 or the united side of 1999. A decent side yes but with every position filled twice by internationally recognized players it's little wonder they are beating all comers (except LFC in the CL of course :D )

Tonights game was proof positive of how far LFc have come in sucha  short time and all this done without Alonso and an established number 9 :p

This is EXACTLY what I think....

They are no dream team by any means....

And with so much money spent I would expect them to play football like the Dream team of Cruyff's Barcelona of the 90's....(seen so many video's and they where amazing)

I can't see Chelsea winning the Champion's League at all....

I can't believe they are 2nd favourite's to win it and we are only like 12th favourite :(

Who cares anyway, we'll be there in this years final....No problem :)  :p

Dalglish & Liverpool 4 Eva,

This Chelsea side is not as good as Arsenal's at going forward but they are a better balanced team. I wouldn't say that this Chelsea is really inferior to Arsenal of 2002/03.

Actually, with the personnel that they have and the money they have, they should be mo of an attacking team instead of one which grinds the opposition and are content with narrow 1-0 or 2-0 wins. Unfortunately, Mourinho is content with keeping his "triangle" midfield with a holding player covering the back four. More emphasis on not conveding goals while winning with 1 or 2 goals will be the norm as there in a lone striker who is also instructed to defend from the front.

That's is why most of their goals doesn't come from the main striker. While they play dull football for a champion, they are brutally effective.

Tbh i think alot of people on here are forgetting the start Chelsea have had to the season, and the amount of goals they have scored.
There goal difference is about +30 and the nearest rival is about +11.
FWIW i think we are starting to perform at a similar level to what Chelsea did most of last season....defending well and taking the odd chance that comes our way...so the progress is definately there.

But i dont think Chelsea this season have been grinding out results...they have taken most sides apart.

Couldnt put it better myself. A cowards tackle. Well despite what anyone says Chelsea will never get the respect from any club in Europe as the great sides once did. It seems Chelsea tend to get desperate on the pitch at times when eveything is not rosey. But you wouldnt think youd have to resort to horrendous challanges and handballs ect....when your club has spent close to £280Million on players in the last 2 years. I suppose what that really shows is how lousy the team really is. Sorry Chelsea, welcome to the forum but i will eb sticking with my views and that is that:

Your club is monopolising the game at every oportunity yet acting with heroism and bravery as if you fough hard for your league title last year but in actual fact whilst it may be blind to you and the rest of your fellow fans it is strikingly clear to eveyone else in the game that you only got your title from Roman Abramoviches mafia money. I know its every fans dream to have unlimited transfer funds but i must ask you does this not make yoiur team seem fake or falsified at all?

Your fans are dispicable. Why Abramovich decided to take over a club more know for its notorious violent and racist fans than football history i will never know. Well i suppose he is Russian. imhave never met such cocky and arrogent fans in my life and this is why every team in Europe hates Chelsea beacsue they practice what every other team stands for and that is passion for football and integrity. Hell even the big fat cat board members dont want you on G-14. Hell did yoiu really think you would be allowed in that elite group based on reaching 2 semis and winning one title. Come of it mate who are you and your team fooling. I read sometimes in the papers about Terry and Lampard how they supposedly hype up their team with such "spirit" at half time and im thinkin. What kind of retard is running this circus show...you spent nearly enough money to feed Africa of course your gonna win things!!!!!!

As regards to you being on this forum, it doenst bother me in the slightest but why are you here? Should you not be on a Chelsea forum. If your nor the old user Chelsea Forever then i must asay that there are a few Chelsea in the closet Liverpool fans out there.
