Actually, with the personnel that they have and the money they have, they should be mo of an attacking team instead of one which grinds the opposition and are content with narrow 1-0 or 2-0 wins. Unfortunately, Mourinho is content with keeping his "triangle" midfield with a holding player covering the back four. More emphasis on not conveding goals while winning with 1 or 2 goals will be the norm as there in a lone striker who is also instructed to defend from the front.
That's is why most of their goals doesn't come from the main striker. While they play dull football for a champion, they are brutally effective.
