No it's not . It's dull. Specially considering the ability you english people have for humour. Monty Python anyone? :)

Fairly predictable selection (a decent one ) although Alonso is reportedly doubtful (knee injury)

if i was the manager i'd keep zenden in the centre of midfield alongside either hamann or alonso. gives the midfield a nice balance :)

According to Marca, the line up of Liverpool would be Neil's one, but with LG in the "right wing", Sissoko for Alonso, and Crouch for Moro. Gerrard in the middle. THey mark this as "sure", but WTF do they know?

I wouldn't have anything against that line up if we had both Moro and Alonso on the bench, though

Gerrard on the wing?

I'd go for:

                 Reina

Finnan  Carragher  Hyypia  Riise

Sinama  Gerrard  Sissoko  Zenden

           Morientes  Cisse

I'd stick Crouch and Kewell on as potential substitutues, possibly Alonso/Garcia for run outs.

You may not have noticed, but he's been playing there quite a bit lately.

yes gerrard on the wing. don't fix what isn't broken. at the moment gerrard is by far the best option we have to play on the right hand side of midfield. even if alonso is missing, hamann is more than capable of stepping in. he was outstanding against chelsea in the CL game. as for zenden, he either plays in the centre or not at all. that's his best position. he's not an outside left and never will be. kewell is the logical option in that position.

however what do i know? i'm not the manager. :D

All reports i've seen suggest that Alonso has shaken of the injury and is available for selection. Sky Sports report that both Alonso and Garcia have been passed fit

Liverpool 2-1 tonight, i got a fiver on it. 7-1 @ Paddy Power (and they refund all losing correct score bets if it finishes 2-1)

That's quite a comprehensive list of injures for Real Betis, this should seriously be a walkover if we can contain Joaquin.
