ppl.......i cudnt b bothered readin all tha otha stevie G threads.....i jus wanna ask.....is he really leavin jus cuz hes been offered 3 million quid??? i think its rumours.....oh yeh, talkin about hair.....isnt luis garcias cute???

Liverpool's Gerrard signs for Lucozade

GlaxoSmithKline has revealed Liverpool and England international star, Steven Gerrard, as its new face of football and latest member of Team Lucozade Sport.

The 24-year-old has signed an initial two year deal that will see him team up with the Lucozade Sport Science Academy (LSSA) - which works with academics, athletes, leading coaches and nutritionists to advance sporting expertise and share understanding - to increase his knowledge and understanding of the impact of nutrition on his sporting performance.

He will also be helping the Lucozade Sport Team test and develop the company's next generation of high performance nutritional products.

Garrard joins England Rugby Union fly-half Jonny Wilkinson and Olympic Gold medallist, rower James Cracknell as current representatives of the brand, and follows England players John Barnes, Alan Shearer and Michael Owen as the focus of a new TV advertising campaign to be launched this month.

Mark Lawrenson claimed this evening on radio that Gerrard to Chelsea is a done deal. He wouldn't reveal the source but it is very very close to the club.

Gerrard's reaction after Luis Garcia gave the ball away today was disapointing: he just stood there and watched Fulham canter down towards our box. I know that sounds like as if Gerrard's every move is being analyized, but its little things like that which irks, and its one area where he has a lot to learn.
