Its a fine line between success and failure.

we are not talking a few weeks here or a couple of months, we are halfway through september, granted a few of those months have been the summer off season but never the less to go 9 months of a 12 month calender year and accrue more points that the team that won the title takes some doing.
so credit where it`s due, brendan has got us punching above our weight and not only that we are playing the game in the right way too, some of our footy at the end of last season was great to watch.

People still moaning over and over about perceived Rodgers' transfer market failings - I mean you've got to be kidding me, we've been absolutely Excellent, with a capital E under him in the transfer market - in today's times, getting good value for good players is tough, but we've really spent money wisely and spent it on talented people. And he speaks rubbish in interviews? Thought he was great all summer. The owners are sh*t? I think there's nothing really to suggest we've not had money to spend.
The bloody moaning that goes around, FFS

Such a step up to from the Swans to us must come with a safe learning curve, else we'd be no better than the throw-away clubs. Rodgers is inexperienced at our level, but so long as he is learning, then he's still growing into his capacity.
Take into account the improvements we've seen, and the areas people think he's not impressed, and supposing he won't make the same mistakes twice, how long would you realistically give him, and to achieve what?

I judge a manager on merrit, if we have a poor season this year, then in the summer Rodgers ships out the junk and strengthens wisely then I'd be more than happy for him to stay.
If we have a bad season and he stands by Allen, Borini, Henderson, Johnson etc then for me he's gotta go.
I'm not a fan of chopping and changing, but I wouldn't say... you've got five years to do this or that.
For me, you get one year to achieve something realistic. You succeed, you get another year to achieve something realistic etc etc. That doesn't mean if you fail your out... there could be reasons why you fail which would obviously be taken into account. If we lost Suarez to injury and Gerrard for example and finished seventh or eighth then you could understand the faiiliure and you would probably get time to put it right.

I dread to think of a conversation where that might be a valid response.
