Brendan is a good manager, it took time to actually see it but since January the form of the team has come on leaps and bounds.

The key difference to our success during the last 19 games has been about desire and application. It certainly hasn't been just about two players or new signings. When Ming saved the 87th minute penalty against Stoke Gerrard's reaction was akin to to us winning a major trophy !! It wasn't just Gerrard though it was the entire team. The team is currently in a far better place mentally than it has been for a very long time. A great deal of credit must go to BR for what he has achieved. Danny Sturridge's reaction when he scored against United was to fight his way to BR to celebrate with him. Hopefully some of BR's critics appreciated just what was happening at that moment !! But there again......

I think we struggle in the second half due to lack of depth. When we were under pressure from the Scum Drops, I looked at the bench and it was weak really. Gerrard and Lucas must have been knackered, but in a game like that one, who would we truly trust to go on the pitch in Gerrards place? Someone who could slot into a highly passionate and intense game without needing time to get up to speed? To play under such pressure and not slip up for 90 minutes is an amazing feat, but Gerrard is starting to look tired and I'm not sure we have a midfielder to take some of the load.

I reiterate that the guy is doing a great job and long may it continue. we've got more league points than united in 2013 which shows that he's learnt from his mistakes earlier on in his reign. we also play better football now and our mentality is better. the signing of toure was a masterstroke in that regard as he's a leader.

i'd give him a new contract personally.

Seconded, Brendan is going a great job to warrant a new contract. Stability is the foundation for success and Brendan certainly offers that
