We are soft and we leave our Cb's exposed - half or more of the teams in the prem will punish us for that.

Exactly, we need a Sissoko or a Mascherano in the middle of the park, we need to add more physical presence

We lose to west brom and zenit and its the end of the world
I love being a Red
:rasp

not the end of the world thommo but potentially the end of our season :rasp
i am as devoted to this club as anyone but what is is that makes you think he is any different to any other manager that has come and gone in the last 20 years with a 5 yr plan ?.
i can visit my local any night and listen to several who talk as good a game as he does if not better so i just dont get what all the fuss is about and why so many think he is the saviour of this club when he has nothing to back it up.

And now youre gunna believe us, were gunna win the league!!!!!

our next 6 games are -

wigan (away)
spurs  (home)
southampton (away)
aston villa (away)
west ham (home)
reading (away)

i know we are a long way back from spurs but they do have some tricky games coming up -

west ham (away)  - they have to play against carroll which we dont when we play west ham.
arsenal (home)
liverpool (away)
fulham (home)
swansea (away) - tough place to go and swansea wont be resting players for that one
everton (home)
chelsea (away)
man city (home)

we are definately outsiders to get 4th and if i was a betting man i`d bet against us, but tottenham`s fixture list over the next couple of months is about as tough as you can get, apart from united they practically play everyone else in the top 8.
at the end of the day it depends on ourselves, if we win our next 6 games we`d be in with a shout but it`s wether we are consistent enough to do that.

The problem is that we’re not just playing catch-up to Spurs. We also have Arsenal and Everton in front of us. Catching one team in front of you is always achievable even if they a fair few points ahead, but we need to get past 3 good teams. As you said we are definitely outsiders and the smart money won’t be on us.

That what someone said to me in 2005 when I had a cheeky punt that we'd win the CL. £10 after we qualified from the group stage, got me the best part of 200 quid back.

Speculate to accumulate

I'd rather read Rodgers say we can get top 4 than we are a mid table side to be honest.

As someone pointed out its not just catching one its catching 3.

If we are going to get fourth we need to go through the rest of the season winning every game
