imo rodgers talks too much, in his 13 years at liverpool as a player and manager dalglish won 8 league titles, 3 european cups, 2 F.A cups, 5 league cups and the european super cup. he also picked the club up off it`s knee`s in the aftermath of heysel when LFC were the biggest pariahs in international sport and as manager he went to every one of the 96 funerals in 1989.
what next? is he gonna start whinging that it took bill shankly two seasons to get us out of the second division?
imagine if roy had made a comment like that.

2+2 does not equal 5. There is a small but loud section of fans who are desperate to take any opportunity to have a dig at Rodgers as they are still hurting from Kenny’s sacking last year. His up against it but holding his own OK at the moment.

Deary me, I'm not having a personal dig at anyone here but our fans are turning out to be a bunch of over sensitive pansies.  Almost in every interview that BR has given someone has tried to twist his comments into something they're not. We expect our players to man up and show 100% commitment it's time some of our fans took their own advice

I'm 100 per cent behind the manager with what he's trying to do but I hope that some wins follow in the league now.

Some really classy stuff on the field so far today. *thumbs up*

1) How exactly is he having a pop at Kenny? We overpaid for the likes of Downing and there's no getting around that. He is telling it how it is. It's reality so deal with it.
2) Stop talking about what Kenny did in his time. Everyone knows that and knows he is a legend so what purpose does it serve to bring it up?
