Plenty argument .
Ask the question to people who dont remember Kenny playing and they will answer Gerrard - ask it to people who do remember Kenny playin and he majority will say Kenny .
In every poll I always see on the OS and forums Kenny always win . That tells you there is an argument against Gerrard being the new Liverpool player ever .

At this moment you cannot compare the two as simply put, Dalglish has so much more experience off the pitch, and has had to deal with tragedies. So we have to compare what they both have done on the pitch, and you cannot seperate them with a piece of paper. Both are immense.

I must admit sometimes I underestimate the impact Gerrard makes to the game... but boy we missed him the past 6 months or so.
Gerrard is unlucky not to have won the league so far. I believe that if Owen didn't leave we could've won the league during Rafa's reign. And also if Alonso and Torres didn't leave. But one can say that Gerrard almost single-handedly won us the Champions League...
