Hopefully we don't gas out we're using a lot of energy right now, we can nick it if it stays 1-0 though, at least get a draw out of it and salvage the match.

pmsl, might have been a 50/50 ball but only one player had both feet off the ground.

Howard Webb MBE has been a disgrace. Soft penalty and Gerrard sent off for a bookable offence. Webb should hand back his MBE. Does this mean Gerrard is suspended for the next league game?

Scoreline aside (United done f*ck all but hit the post in that half) how good does it feel to hear a commentator say "Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool"?

Anyone know why Cole isn't even in the squad?

Anyways I reckon (or more like hope!) that we'll sneak a draw even if we're one man down.

THAT DOES NOT MATTER

if both studs are showing and you catch your opponent it can be a red.

(imo it was a yellow, but I can see why a red was given, and I wouldnt say it was "never" a red)

Lakes, his feet were off the ground and yeah it was dangerous but the contact he made with Carrick was minimal (he made an absolute meal of it). His eyes were on the ball and there was no need for a red. Yellow was enough to caution him for that. Rafael a few minutes before that flew off the ground in the 50/50 with Meireles and he didnt even get a yellow.
