Presumably Hicks will have to sue via the British courts otherwise the jurisdiction issues become ridiculous. Don't know if you saw this in the Guardian:

In the off chance that the Dallas judge sides with H&G (unlikely I know): Liverpool, Man U and Aston Villa will from then forward be subjects of the American legal system; Chelsea will be subject to the Russian legal system; and Man City will be subject to the sharia courts.

he wont be suing the club, it'll be the directors and RBS.
