Told Texas hearing would take less than an hour. So NESV's takeover of #LFC may well go through tomorrow

Been a bit distracted tonite (the young fella almost got a batin' for doing my head in !) - what's tomorrow's hearing actually about ?

It's for Hicks to confirm he is a kunt.  :p

Excuse my language.

Errrrrrrr...right..

Any other takers ?

What confuses me is....why are NESV in court at ALL, when they haven't yet done anything ? I mean, they're the intended buyers of the club, granted, but wtf do they have to defend themselves against ?
Maybe I need to watch re-runs of LA Law or summat...

8.46pm: There seems to be some confusion over what exactly is going on in the court in Dallas (confusion in this story - never). I'm not sure I can help much other than quote the passage below from the Dallas Observer's blog (courtesy of David Holden) ...

Robert is at the George Allen this very moment, where attorneys representing New England Sports Ventures and Kop Holdings (which is to say, Tom Hicks) are squaring off over who owns Liverpool FC. In light of the UK judge's ruling this morning, which basically tossed yesterday's temporary restraining order, the attorneys (and assorted media) have gathered to see what the judge will decide, since Hicks owes the Royal Bank of Scotland close to $500 million dollars by tomorrow.

Right now, the judge is leaning toward a 7 a.m. hearing Friday to decide whether or not he will lift yesterday's TRO. Court is scheduled to reconvene shortly. Updates forthcoming.

Does anyone think as fans we could actually sue this kn0bhead for all the stress and anxiety he has caused us. Could be quite good if he got a few hundred lawsuits againts him.
Its cabbaged my ferkin brain anyway.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

I may be off to Texas for business in January, my Liverpool shirt is going to be out in force.

What I would give to bump into one of his stooges!
