I'm about to fall asleep and this happens, what c*nts! Anyways, judging from JBG's expertise I guess we shouldn't worry, I do trust the board and NESV to remove this immediately

Well, I think we need a legal eagle from the US on here to give an opinion. Not just us surmising what we THINK is the right decision, or what we'd LIKE to see happen...and not a second year law student who is still wet behind the ears....

BTW, I wasn't referring to JBG...rather the other bloke who threw in his tuppence worth...

Not all LFC supporters are scousers. And not all americans are hated. However these two have to be the most hated parasitic leeches on this planet. I cannot find the words to describe these most horrendous of cretins.

I dont wish this on anyone, but these I make an exception. I hope they die, and soon. They are not doing anyone any favours by being here. Evil horrible little Bastards.

Just read this...

If they have a valid point, or points, then the deal is off with NESV.

Mate, I don't think NESV can get involved in this. They have agreed to purchase the club, but that's the level of their involvement.
It'd be like you or me agreeing to buy, but the plaintiff is MB and his mates, not the buyer.

Look at page 5, paragraph c of the TRO.

Hicks tried to get the Texan judge to order that the defendants (RBS, the directors and NESV) should be prevented from seeking any legal redress against the TRO until the hearing on the 25th October. This was marked out so its not part of the TRO meaning that the defendants can go and apply to have it removed.

NESV are named in the TRO and in my opinion the TRO is primarily aimed at them.

just had a chat to someone who seems to think that we can get this lifted as soon as that court isopen in the morning over there due to the same case has now had a high court rule on it and its only a matter of having the paper work sent to that cout in the US.

WELL I AM NOT SURE THATS RIGHT MYSELF.
Reading the link that ciggy posted it seem they are overlooking what our high court have said and going to get it set at a us court.
hate to say it but rbs should pull the loan right now, we take the 9 points and then RBS own us and then sell us., my big fear is that as soon as rbs pull the loan hicks has 24hrs to pay up, this :censored: might jusy walk in wth nother loan to stopthe sale by rbs.

anyway i hope the other person is right and we get it lifted in their morning

All of that is total bs mate.

Broughton does not have the authority to simply brush off offers on his own. He knows full well his reputation would be in complete tatters if he did so.

It's just spin by Hicks, twisting facts at a district court in Texas to someone who has no clue of what's been going on.

The bit I am curious about, the TRO was submitted at 8:25pm local time indicating that the board meeting was scheduled for 8:30pm (hence beating it by 5 minutes!)- but wasn't this board meeting called for 8:00pm according to early reports?

Do you really think Cameron or Clegg care about what happens to a premier league football club? It choked Cameron to have to talk about the 2018 bid.

As for Obama he's hardly likely to become involved given which former president Hicks is best mates with.

Considering the money paid in tax, yeah I would have thought it would peak their interest.
