Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

We have to believe the right decision will be made, Broughton has been fab so far we have to trust him.

It would have been daft to confirm NESV in front of LIVE TV without consultation with them first.

yeah i'd be surprised if they went back on their word, and with the contract in place they probably can't.

11.28am: Martin Broughton outside court:

Justice has been done. We will now continue with the sale process. We will have a board meeting tonight and the owners will certainly be invited.

Christian Purslow: "This is a great day for the club and will hopefully allow Liverpool to concentrate on football for the next ten years.

cudos to martin broughton though, eh? everyone was rightly suspicious at first of having a declared chelsea supporter as chairman, foreseeing a clash of interests and a lack of experience in football as major issues. but the guy has really come up trumps for us - he's got rid of the kunts and he's done his utmost to see the club in a better and stronger position for the future. to be honest, i'd be more than happy to see him stick around for some time - who knows, maybe he'll even become a genuine red.

It'll be NESV. They'll have had pre-contract agreements with Broughtan making the purchase subject to the court case. Now that today's ruling has been made it should be difficult for either party to back out.

this is what I'm worried about....
in order for MB to make his 500K bonus, he has to sell the club. up to now, we've all understood it to be NESV. now i'm not so sure....

id be pretty confident bungle that we will be sold to nesv, its prob a legal thing with the board.
j henry has been tweeting how happy he is with the result and expresses his delight to broughton, purslow ayre and the fans :buttrock.

Defo, I'm sure they figured everything out before hand.
