11.11am: Judge tells Hicks and Gillett it would be "inappropriate" to appeal. But that route does still remain open, although it is unclear what it could achieve with a board meeting by 8pm tonight.

Sachin says that the Liverpool/RBS barristers are now being cheered by the crowd outside.

LIVE on SKY now, they had to interrupt the questions to Broughton due to reds fans singing YNWA and "get out of our club you lying b*******" - superb...but get this Broughton didn't confirm when asked the sale would be to NESV, a meeting tonight at 8pm to discuss, so maybe the sale is to someone else after all?

Thank feck for that - what a great day!!!! Well done Broughton, Purslow and Ayre - it took a lot of balls to stand up to those two in the manner in which they did and they had the business nous to go along with their actions. And well done us the fans - I hope that our passion for LFC has fully registered with NESV and they completely understand the responsibility they are taking on with our great club. Very very very happy!!!!!!!
