Richard Snowdon, for RBS, finished off today’s proceedings by describing Hicks and Gillett’s stance as "astonishing" and Mr Girolami’s comments, and counter injunction claim against all parties, as "wild allegations being bandied around."

He said: "There can be no course of action against us. We are a lender to this company. RBS is trying to find a solution to this problem for everyone.

"It’s quite astonishing for my learned friend to stand up and say there shouldn’t be a mandatory injunction (against Hicks and Gillett) as RBS won’t enforce their deadline.

"After Friday, the facility goes to maturity.

"Hicks and Gillett are asking you to play a game. Your lordship should not play it. The board of directors should be reconstituted."

The ruling of the Court Case, challenging the Boards decision to sell the club, is taking place at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Wednesday 13th October 2010. It is listed to start at 10:00am in Court 16. Following the events of the first day of the court case, it is clear that Tom Hicks and George Gillett are still trying to do whatever they can to cling on to any part of the club, whether that be through bending the truth or outright lies. Spirit of Shankly feel we need to make a dignified and organised appearance at the Courts. We do not propose to scream and shout at faceless people in suits, but we feel it is important that we are represented by members at what could be a very important event in the chapter of Liverpool Football Clubs recent history.

As a result, we will be laying on a coach to take those wishing to attend from Liverpool. Due to the early start the coach will leave from outside the Liverpool Empire Theatre at 4:00am, and from the Rocket at 4:20am. The coach will be free of charge, and places will be allocated on first come, first served basis. We ask that you only reserve a place if you are certain you can make it, given the demand.

We are aware that the 7/7 Bombing Inquest is also being held at the Royal Courts this week, and will be attended by grieving relatives. As Liverpool fans will appreciate, this Inquest will be a raw and very emotional time for relatives, as the circumstances of their loved ones deaths will be recounted, and we urge people to show the families our respect while making our feelings about the ownership of Liverpool Football Club known to the media, the courts and Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

If you are available and would like to travel to London, then please email jamesmckenna@spiritofshankly.com with your name, pick up point and contact telephone number.

It's been doing my head in to have read that these two pri...ks stand to lose £144 million if and when the NESV deal goes through. clearly it is tosh journalism because we have all been aware for some time that they have put none of their own money at all, instead they simply loaned it to the club at a whopping 10% interest. My assumption was that this money would still need to be paid back as and when the sale goes through.

Anyway this guy seems to have been equally pis.....sed (see below)

http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2010....ow.html

It is a bit of a worry though, add another £100 million onto our debt (after the owners are gone) once NESV are in and things don't look quite as rosy as we hoped they'd look.

just read the article i think the lawsuits to follow are the damages clams made by NESV if we go into administration I.E, if they do not have ownership by Friday.
