at least it looks like being sorted now.if its not then i hope rbs puts us into administration and feck the 9 points.
i dont understand why nesv will pull out if we get the deduction.its not likely we will be relegated because of it so i hope it was only a threat to bolster the court case.
hicks will be burning the midnight oil as we speak doing what he is good at and thats complicating things,i pray the judge makes the correct decision tomorrow and allows the sale to go through.
just heard broughton on ssn and he still feels confident we will get the verdict:) .
i doubted broughton when he was first appointed but he has shown to be a loyal asset am i glad he is on our side.the man will be a legend in my book if were rid of these two tomorrow.
in broughtons own words to the fans "keep the faith".

considering the judge seemed to be so dismissive of a quick verdict it's strange that it has changed to 10.30 tomorrow morning, maybe he's heard something in RBS's QC's summing up that has made up his mind? or maybe thats just wishful thinkin!!!!! here's hoping anyway!!!

The judge isnt daft... the yanks dont have a chance, he's probably still smarting about his BP share price once the yanks had got their pound of flesh over that oil spill.

LFC 1, Yanks 0.

The ruling today was about whether the current board is legal.. H&Admin (Gillette not really involved as he defaulted) tried to frustrate the process, with some sorry stories.. RBS have asked for a ruling on the boards 'legality' and that looks clear cut really...

the 'club' could have been taken-over ages ago, RBS have stated they have foregone 'millions in fees' to work with the 'Board' to find the 'right' buyer.. and they did not have to do that.. and are right to want their money back.. RBS' case is very strong actually given the exhaustive search by Broughton and the counter responses to H&G claims to being excluded from the process..

I fear tomorrow will only see the start of an appeal.

well the dream scenario is that the judge rules in our favour and also rules against any appeal and dragging this whole thing out. all of their arguments today just smacked of desperation, hopefully the judge will see it that way

I wonder if the "uniqueness" of the asset (LFC) will mitigate the possibility of appeal.  Time is a factor in this for RBS and if they win they could sue H&G for further delays as a result of appeal and financially cripple the two even more.  If it is a strong ruling for RBS then H&G should be advised to cut and or run or suffer further losses.  WALK ON!!!!!  :pirate

At work all day and thank God for twitter! How I didnt get sacked today ill never know.  :D

We are close to the end now I feel, judging by what happened today IMO the Judge will favour RBS and we should get the go ahead to complete the takeover. My only fear is an appeal but one sports lawyer that I heard today claimed that it would be possible for RBS to put back the October 15th deadline for a few weeks until the appeal is heard
