Asia bid matches NESV

Ben Smith Twitter: Group from Singapore have matched NESV's £300m offer for #lfc and are undergoing proof of funds, legal tests etc ... but only as back-up.

Premier League have agreed to the Singapore bid also.

Ronnie Whelan
"I would be delighted if someone new took over. You wipe away the debt and you can get players in. Until that happens, Liverpool are struggling. We all know they're struggling - third from bottom with seven games gone. They need something to boost the football club and somebody taking over and putting a lot of money in would be great for Liverpool."

John Bishop
"We've got this fear of Americans but it's not about what country they are from, it's about who they are. The Red Sox have got a very, very strong base. I have been to Boston a few times and I've been to watch the Red Sox play, and it's as close to Anfield as baseball can get. It's got strong tradition, it's got the same sense of community. You hope these people have got the view to bring all that here."

Roy Evans
"I just hope they do the due diligence. We can't afford to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire. We need someone to come to this club who will take us forward. I am not taking it as red yet, I don't know if it's going to happen and I don't know if it's the right thing because I've had nothing to do with it. It has to be the right people to make sure the club runs smoothly and goes back to the days we all loved when we were successful."

Dan Roan: Am told LFC now in real danger of 9 point deduction if Kop Holdings goes into administration next Friday.

Others on twitter saying the same.

Hicks delays the sale on a technicality or detail and gives us that as a parting gift.

The bank would allow a conditional extension if the sale looks almost certain to go through. They would also be in a position to make things increasingly more difficult for the american parasites by imposing further massive penalties.
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 21/22 to 25/26  (10 years
are in brackets 16/17 to 25/26 )
LFC €490m (€650m)
Everton +€15m (€290m)
Arsenal €770m (€1107m)
Spurs €665m (€892m)
Chelsea €740m (€1045m)
Man City €460m (€1095m)
Man United €780m (€1340m)

the way around it is for RBS to pull the loan next week and take control and sell within 24hrs, this will stop the 9 point, anything under 24hrs you can get hit for......going by the old rules se out to leeds years ago i think.

I wouldn't worry about the 9 or 10 point deduction,  I was listening to someone the other day on the radio and they were saying that there is no way the premier league would let us be deducted the points because not only would it be bad for us it would be bad for the the premier league as a global brand.

Because if we happened to get relegated as result of the deduction it would significantly damage the premier league and the amount they sell the rights to to other countries.

Anyone who laughs at this is a tw@t.

Breaking: Manchester United have reported record loss of £83.6 million for financial year ending 30.6.10.
#MUFC paid out £40.2m in interest, £40.7m termination of rate-swap, £19.3m currency exchanges, £30.4m (net) on players...

No, as this would signify they accept their dismissal.

since proven funds are in place to take over the club, and the party responsible for approving said funds are also the body which deducts points, it seems we can't be deducted points, even if the sale goes through after the deadline for loan repayments. caveat: IF the sale goes through(which it will. ).

We've tackled our demons before they have and we'll come out better for it.

Next 1-2 years look tough for MUFC. £19.3m currency exchanges... thats the owners taking their swag out AND charging the club for the pleasure.

You're right Ciggy, I'm in tears here.....  :lookaround
