As it's on the official site I would like to think it will go through, they wouldn't publish on there only for it to fall apart....would they?

I would like to pray we have new owners and Kenny as chairman when Broughton goes...please!

from twitter...

Thomas Werner, a key member of NESV, was one of the leading creative forces behind 'Mork and Mindy'. So he knows a bit about farce. Handy.

Another key NESV member, Phillip H Morse, made his money manufacturing catheters. Let's just hope he's not taking the :censored: now.

Really don't know how I feel at the moment. We've had false dawns before and I'm not getting too carried away until it's all signed sealed and delivered. Hicks and Gillette are not going to go quietly , things could get very messy.

Once bitten twice shy. Not getting excited till it goes through and he lays out his plans for stadium and team investment.

RT @tariqpanja: Told fee #NESV is paying for #LFC is about 300 million quid. That would leave the owners diddly. Hence the legal challenge

Broughton, Ayres and Purslow have been absolutely stunning! :buttrock.
im very happy that we have those 3 on board instead of one of the owners sons and some lady other whom they probably take turns to sleep with.

What is giving me hope more than anything is the fact the as a last resort Hicks and Gillett tried to get their own people on the board and failed miserably.

another Yank....really? I'm not sure I trust this guy to be honest
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Thanks to the cancerous pair we have suffered over the years, they have painted an unfair picture for all american business men. We have to get past that.

that's probably fair enough mate. Just have to see how he gets on. If he's been watching LFC over the last 3 years then at least he knows what NOT to do

Hicks and Gillette  on their way out is obviously 'cause for celebration but I'm not going to get carried away and start thinking that all our problems will now magically disappear.

The Red Sox fella has a decent reputation and has done good things for the Red Sox BUT he is first and foremost a businessman with no affiliation to LFC or football in general. He's not gonna throw silly money at us and we are not going to see the kind of spending enjoyed by Man City or Chelsea when they acquired new owners.
