Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think if Hicks gets the money he needs then there will be uproar and i genuinely believe that severe action will be taken by the fans - such as not going to football matches anymore. Simple as that. Fans will not attend matches and the team will take to a empty anfield for the home games.

We can have all the protests we want but its the ONLY way to get rid.

Whats worrying me is he doesnt seem to care if Anfields full or empty.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Ive just got to say im utterly gobsmacked at Bigmicks comments regarding Brian Reade, nothing to reply to that really apart from he is one of the most loyal and honest passionate of Liverpool fans that support us, Good match going red , member of SOS , who has done absolutly wonderful behind the scenes work and Journalism regarding our plight at the moment , without journos like him pushing it in peoples faces and commenting on it in a national news paper youd still have most of our support thinking every thing was hunky dory, He has aLso   done magnificent work in articles and none stop campaining for the plight and seek for justice regarding the truth about our beloved 96. I am proud to call Brian Reade a Red and a great Journalist

I,ve been banging on about a ground boycott for days now.emailed SOS couple of days ago proposing it. Got a no. But i see a few here are begining to agree with me. Am not saying this because am a bolshie b.astard. am saying it because our club is being abused and when a member of my family gets abused i will take revenge and FIGHT. Human nature is to protect your own

He will eventually when the money stops coming in and the only reason he trying to refinance is because he will be looking to sell the club and the price he wants in a few years. He wont get that price because potential investors wont invest in a club that has no fans going to matches

By which time the club will be on it's knees....there will be no decent players....we'll be like Leeds.

Non attendance is the only real way to go. The campaigns should be (if Hicks does get investment) towards our own supporters. To reach out to as many as possible and persuade them simply not to buy a ticket, or for those with season tickets, not to go.

Boycotting the ground is difficult because there will always be day trippers happy to step in and snap up extra tickets, and if you buy the tickets but dont take your seat the godsh*tes still get their money but the lads dont get the support. Picket the entrances on a specific matchday and get it publicised enough that the boycott is on so if anyone has an idea to show up they'll get dogs abuse. Let the away teams fans know as well with plenty of notice so that on the day inside the ground is EMPTY
