no shock there, look how much money RBS are making out of the old loand, our debt is keeping them bloody running.

Neither option is straightforward, but The Daily Telegraph understands that RBS will extend the financing deal for a short period only if Broughton indicates there is a realistic chance of a deal being closed quickly after Oct 6.

joke.

happening. Meanwhile our team isn't getting the money it should. What happens next summer when we spend fk all and Torres actually does pack it in? There gonna be murders if this happens.

yep spot on, over the last two days there been a few reports about what RBS are going to do with the liverpool loan. as they have not acted on the news reports then i think its very safe to say they are going to renew the loan and rake in as much money as they can from it.
not only are we being raped by the owners but also by RBS. they are making so much off us that its ajoke.

if i gave you a loan on a car £5000 for a year but was asking you to pay back £1000 intrest every week, would i ask you to sell the car to pay the rest off? would i take the car back and sell it for book price? no i would keep giving you the loan so i can make money off you.
ok i know its not all like that but right know its the mood i am in tonight lol.

You see:
'Sources close to Barclays Capital have indicated that the unnamed bidder is 'leading the race' to win control of the club with as many as five bidders understood to be at 'in-depth' stages of due dilligence.'
5 bidders so you'd extend the loan with provisos would ya?

Theres some money to be made in Liverpool FC, but I think its dawning on people that theres no big money in sport (as in big profits to the owner) and Hicks and Gillette will go through a lot of pain in releasing this (unfortunately, likely at out short term expense).
This could drag on for another year or so ( I believe they will ultimately manage to re-finance if it comes down to it) at Liverpool FC's short term expense, but as long as our next owners have reasonable shoulders on their heads Liverpool's future should be good.
I dont for a minute buy into the long term doom and gloom/Apocalpse Now scenarios put forward by some fans although the next season or so in the league could be sticky.
