So Kenny Haung has dropped out? Surely this is because our owners wanted 600k and Haung only offered 350k? As the October 6th deadline approaches could this change as our owners will be getting desperate by then and might relent on the price? Or perhaps the Oct 6th deadline comes and we will be owned by RBS who would then negociate a better selling price than 600k?

PS I did read in the Sun newspaper (Wednesday) that a foreign buyer has made a sound offer for our club, of course you never know what's true or not with newspapers!

Sorry to be a bit of a slow coach boys.

Redx

Not much happened at all other than Kenny pulling out of it.
looks like we now wait until October and see what happens.
H+G might get another extension on their loans.

I heard a rumour too about someone taking over but thats it. No more info  :D

Probably not the best idea to ever read or mention that particular newspaper though.  :)

Never ever ever again read the s.*i*e S.n newspaper, whatever you do.If you have to then don't mention that rag on here!!!

Calm Dowm mate. I dont read it but what someone else reads is up 2 them

i dont read it either mate and yes anyone can read what they want.
but just don't quote or mention it here thats all. :no
see the main discussion board 2nd thread from the top.

So who are the four remaining parties who are interested? Rhone Group, Dubai International Capital, Al Kharafi family, ???

I take it as good news that nobody knows. Buyers always want to do these things in private.

How great would it be if this was concluded in the next 2 hours... to some billionaire.
Then we'd have 2 hours left to send out some crazy bids :D

Thats what Citeh did when they got taken over by the arabs, rushed in and got Robiniho. Look how sh*t he turned out to be. Still, it would be nice though.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Hope that isn't the reason Babel is getting sold...

Cant find that anywhere Ciggs, including on the Radio City website.

Lets hope its not true, as that really would mean big trouble with the FA, Uefa etc..

If its true, then wheres the transfer money coming from etc... as bank guarantees have to be given?

They where saying that a 2.5 penalty was put on the club, for July & August, and if we where not sold on the 31st of August it was a 7 million pound penalty.

Must be just a woman thing though  :glare:
thats the worst insult Ive ever had on here from anyone  :no

This is only tangentially related to one of our owners, but it shows the terrible culture these two demons come from.  Anyone coming from the American sports corporate scene needs to be dismissed as bidders for LFC.  Publicly poor mouthing while secretly raking in millions in profits.  Sound familiar?
