deary me, why we're talking about Roy being lucky to secure his services only one person knows.

Do you have anything worthwhile to add to the thread or is it going to be constant little snidey posts - if my opinion bothers you that much put me on ignore so i don't have to put up with your childish cra.p every time you press your keyboard

I'm sure someone of your intelligence will figure it out - until you do just do it naturally - Either that or do us all a favour and unplug the keyboard .

we all have our own opinions. But you have an agenda against our current manager

no offence Kewell but you do realise he's only guilty of what you were not too long ago. If it annoys you then consider how you were sounding everytime you jabbed Rafa. Just a thought like

Can we now just accept Rafa has gone. People can view the facts how they want to suit their agenda. Rafa had good points and bad but he left and thats that. So far I've got absolutely no complaints about Roy's impact at LFC and hope we carry on as we have started.

This.

Thoughs who throw stones at glass house's an all that . Or something like that.

Sorry Igor but it isn't "this" simply because Rafa was afforded ample time and given a good chance. The negativity surrounding the arrival and management of Roy started before a ball had even been kicked. So it is a bit different really, and those making the negative comments about Roy are still dirty Rafa isn't around.

Anyway back on topic,

I think Gerrard will have a good season this year whether he is played behind Torres or in the engine room. I thought he did a good job against Arsenal although I do believe he was too disciplined in the role and didn't venture foraward as much as I'd have liked. I think he can still create things and move foward more, with either one of the likes of Mash, Poulsen and Lucas beside him. He just needs to find his feet again in that position.

My opinions of Rafa are based of his FIVE YEARS OF CHARGE OF LFC...not 5 mins. I gave him a chance,  i celebrated that magical night in Istanbul and had high hopes. However, i also watched in dismay as he lost the plot....ranted at the media under pressure, aired our dirty washing in public, and wasted 10s of millions of precious cash on awful signings.

Benny the Loon doesn’t like Roy and wont give the guy a break because she’s throwing her toys out of her pram over the fact he’s not a ‘big’ name. She’s not prepared to give him a chance and, despite the fact he’s kept our best players and sign cole on a free, she refuses to acknowledge that our new manager is doing well.

That’s my gripe....it’s disappointing that i have to explain it though, I thought it was rather obvious.

And here comes the other one - unable to post without resorting to insults - it's a free world and I have formed my opinion and I'm entitled to that opinion - if you don't like if then tough . Follow the same advice I gave to the other one and put me on ignore so that I don't have to put up with the personal hounding and snidey remarks and then the grown ups are free to debate the subject at hand in a respectful way . For a bit of advice see how LFC 2007 posts because he can manage to debate the subject in a mature way without insults when he doesn't agree with my opinion one single bit - because to put it frankly I'm sick of the sh.it coming from you now

too right Kewell and Bennys are based in Hodgsons record in general. That discussion will certainly go round in circles

We had dreams and songs to sing

It may also be a case of Roy just holding back a little even if he is new to the threshold of a top european side. (dare I say that?) He's still new to this level.
