TAKEOVER COMPLETE - H & G Finally Jibbed!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Reg » Wed Aug 11, 2010 11:44 pm

One last thought, Gerrad and Torres committed to Liverpool this summer because of assurances about new owners, a new stadium and a proper transfer budget for Woy.  Errrrr... so where do we, G&T and the club stand on that now?

update from Bamber and Huangs man Marc Ganis

Quote from: Bamba on Today at 11:06:52 PM
Just a quickie, brethren. I'm absolutely confident the Huang takeover is bang on course. I hate being evasive. I'd promised I wouldn't come back onto this thread until I had solid news, but I feel the anguish everyone is going through and felt I should pop in and try to calm the fear, understandable as it is. Hold your nerve and talk about football for a day or two. It's coming to a head. I really can't say any more.

Marc Ganis:  “For some reason, some in the media are insistent on tasting the cake before it is fully baked, when the very process of opening the oven and taking a taste in itself will adversely impact its baking."

Media:  "Cake, gimme cake! Now!"
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

This whole transfer talk sounded so promising just a week ago now it seems to have gone back to limbo, *uck people of Liverpool should just storm the office and lynch all those responsible for this whole debacle.

Bamba is a usually reliable source of info who lives on rawk. He's really confident, however, with T&T its so hard to predict cos they change the goal posts every minute.

I really hope he is right

from the "bbc understands bin"

BBC understands the Liverpool board have told bidders for the club "put up or shut" in comes in the face of lack of information on how the money for the bids will be sort.
Liverpool are looking to seal a deal for the club before the start of the new season to give their manager funds to add to his squad.

Right can someone answer me. ive been racking me brain all night thinking, about these two , the Syrian and the Chinese fella, There playing an open game in the media, one minute there saying they have funds and plans of what they want to do ,they clearly havnt got the finaces themselves but,  None of them have named there backers. There camps have discredited each other . One of them has been in touch with SOS,wanting to talk , one of them has called our previous manager some names, You have one side of the media saying the Syrian deal is done and a price has been agreed with Hicks and Gillette , youve got other media saying The chinese fella has done his deal with RBS,  and then you have Martin who is suppossed to be in charge saying NO OFFERS HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE TABLE, A meeting that was supposed to have been called between the directors has now been put back, WERE ARE YOU TOM AND GEORGE, youve been very quiet lately,

Broughton said in the beginning that no offers or bids will be disscused publicly and we will find out when a bid has been accepted, So is there another party that are just doing there dealings in private,

Im telling you who ever wrote the screne play for this would win an oscar, Put this on telly and it would blow Eastenders and Corrie viewing figures out the water,

But the sad sad thing in all of this what could  be called a new Carry on Film is its our Fu.cking beloved Liverpool that are is now being ridiculed all over the world as a joke, who is being whored to anyone with a pound in there bank but might be able to get one of there mates to push that pound up to a fiver, Who shot JR hasnt got nothing on this saga,

Now for me questions ha ha
What happens if we are not bought before Oct 6th.

And am i right in thinking that our new prospective buyer only has to prove to the Premier league that they can sustain us financialy for 12 months, to go someway in passing that fit and proper owners test,

How long does due diligance take,

its very clear what would happen Nan, the loan would be refinanced, RBS moan about the loan but they are making so much from it that right now they will do anything to keep it.
