Lee my friend, the difference between most on here and Lakes is that when we post a rumour or news story it is backed up by a news source or web link. Not "a mate of mine told me" or by wording the post as if it is fact.

SCS, anyone can report 'news source' blurb, its the titbits from friends and contacts that provide the breaks and make the difference.

again she me one post over the last few weeks where i have sais its FACT.

some on here have a problem with me and not what i post as others have used posts i have made on other forums and posted it on here and nothing has been said .

SCS - I understand that but some people really do have some inside knowledge to whatever degree, I'm not saying Lakes has or has not but he is entitled to post his snipets of info if he wants - he thinks he's contributing and in some ways he is.

ya see, I have a mate who works in a big hotel in Chester and he told me that last week there was a group of arabic chaps checked in at the last minute. they left early for meetings and returned late evening. 2 of them had brand new Liverpool shirts in plastic packaging in their breif cases, taking them back to their kids back home.

ya see, that could be a credible story but on the other hand it could be a load of bullsh!t - who really knows?

You're right but the sheer quantity of "my mate told me" posts on every transfer or controversial subject relating to LFC does get you thinking......

Thats the whole point mate, the line has been extended at a rate that forces the borrower to take action. RBS have clearly said 'yes we´ll extend but we´re gonna do it at an unsustainable rate' which T&T had to accept as they had no where else to turn, then appointed Broughton to sell the club'. Mission accomplished.
