I just dont see him to be the one to buy the club, why did he not go to the club first? buying the debt off RBS was a way to get his foot in the door but its all gone tits up for him as the board have blocked it. (well that how i see it)

Has the board blocked it ? I can't see a problem with the guy as a head of an investment group - he has a proven track record in sports

well no not blocked it but so far have not said yes.
from what i see and read and hear they are not very happy with sone bidders going to RBS before talking to the club, whats the point, WE have a debt with RBS and it has not been called in so no one can buy the debt without the boards say so.
from what i have been told there is a better offer on the table and as i said i get the feeling that Kenny run to the press in a bid to fast track the sale of the club to him.

i also now feel that he got wind of Torres staying at the club and used it as part of his press stuff, he could now say that Torres is staying at the club as he was about to buy it!!

im worried.

Kenny has no money.. he is not even as rich as Hicks and Gillette.

I also dont understand why he is trying to rush this through.. its not very proffesional to say "sell to me within 10 days or there is no deal"

It doesnt sit right with me.. hope I'm wrong:(

Read through all the reports - Kenny is not buying the club with his money - he is head of an investment group - the money is coming from very rich backers .

yes mate i think we all are and no one would blame for being like that due to what happend last time.

what i think is safe to say is that the board are trying to sell the club and make it safe for years to come.

this keeny seem t be doing it via the back door, yes its good this way as G&H will make no money from the sale but i also think its not what the board are looking for , they are looking for a buyer that can buy out the debt and pay it off and buy the club and spend on the club.

Does it matter mate - just looking at Internet you can see what he has achieved in sports and a lot of it is government backed as well .

government backed is what i fear lol

one woring word from our gov then the their Gov could pull all funing to stuff in the west.

it has happen to a lot of companies before when dealing with the far east.

yes it does matter..

just because he seems to be a nice chap going from his past doesnt mean that everyone he does business with are going to have the same outlook.

What if the investors are as corrupt as the 2 wanekrs we have now?

Why does the deal need to be done so quickly? Is it, as they say, so they can spend money in this transfer window or is it so that the correct amount of due diligence can be carried out.

Listen, I hope as much as everyone that these guys are the real deal, but I just cant get these worries out of my head.

If your happy to put the red carpet for ANYONE who can rid of us of the 2 cowboys thats fine, but for me we need to make sure our next owners are 100% the right choice.

We have to trust someone at the end of the day - this guy has all the good credentials and the cv and the previous backing and there doesn't seem to be any previous problems with him . We can't think they are all like the two parasites with currently have . I'm presuming they want the deal done quickly so they can still invest in players before window shuts
