That's right..the cats out of the bag.......

chris, the other moderators and myself have been painstakingly working behind the scenes to orchestrate a takeover bid on behalf of Newkit....

Stumbling block has been the proposed return of Rafa Benitez and whether this would go down well with the Newkit shareholders

Hopefully lakes will keep this development under his hat and not go blabbing to fivelive :O

I have to say it's all rather exciting.

China's soverign wealth fund is worth over $200 bn. That would make us the richest club in the world if the bid was successful. :oh:

I'm all for it as long as we put the Rafa bit to a vote

On a serious note, I cannot think of any possible scenario which could occur which Lakes hasn't at some point presented as a possibility within these 900 odd pages. If it turns out NOT to be Kenny the Hong Kong financier, Lakes will at some point during the last couple of months dismissed him out of hand. If Kenny turns out to be the man, Lakes will have predicted at some point that the main mover and shaker would be a little fella with glasses. If any arab anywhere has anything to do with it he's got that one covered, and similarly if it turns out to be Richard Branson, he'll have predicted at some point in a slightly cryptic post that the solution lies "closer to home" and to "forget the arabs".

All this "I don't know if this is true or not but I've just been told such and such" is (and I hope Lakes doesn't mind me saying this because he's a smashing lad and I like him) total and utter b0ll0cks.

We have reached the point where we might as well all admit it. None of have a fecking clue what is about to happen. Lakes mates are actually a window cleaner, a delivery man for Tesco Direct and a bloke who works in town planning for Romford Council. They know feck all about feck all, with the possible exception of how heavy a case of cornflakes are and what the local governement guidelines are on traffic lights. Ben Patricks mate who always knows the team (and he does) doesn't have influence or knowledge of the boardroom, Nanny and Ciggies numerous contacts have access to much information but don't know any Chelsea supporters or blokes who's middle name is Cecil. All the blokes who post on twitter about it might as well shove their ipod phone things up their erse for all the sense they are typing, and needless to say I know feck all either.

Nobody knows feck all, and I am going to try my very best not to even read this thread until the title changes to "our new owner, I know it's early but is he as big a c... as the previous two were".

That's an interesting take on the situation but I'm not wholly convinced lakes has a friend in such a lofty position as the Romford council or the even lofty position of window cleaner...

It was stated early on that he was head of an investment group so not sure where people are getting idea that he was buying it outright on his own . He has a proven track record and most certainly has never been bankrupt or has failed in any of his investments .

Exactly its been stated since the offer came in its not actually him who has the fortune but his backers that have the billions. Yet this article, which could have been made by an opposite bidders of he club, after all it only says the usually in sider says this :censored:. We all now with the villa quotes that it doesnt mean :censored: says what we all knew anyway That he doest have the moNey himself and every1 throws in the towel and goes back 2 doom and gloom

You don't get talked about Lakes you get the p.iss constantly taken out of you and I was probably one of the first to have a go at your absolute and utter fkg sh.ite! Now even the mods are having a go at you! I got a very lengthy ban for writing less annoying posts than you. My mistake was that they were aimed at Rafa!

Bav recently had a go at me for berating your posts. I am beginning to wonder if you are one and the same person given that Bav is the only person interested in defending your rubbish.

Bav your not Lakes in disguise are you - please gawd say your not LOL !!!!!!!! Oh go on tell me to SHUT UP again!

Lakes,

Its not that mate, this is a very important time in our clubs history, so we are all scouring the internet looking for further news.

I come onto this site and have an avid interest (as we all do) in the takeover thread, especially at this crucial time, and all I read is your :censored:, and how well you are connected!!

If i threw a few tonne of :censored: at the wall I would probably get it right in the end as well!!

Even after all of this you are stilll giving it......'lets talk about the takeover and not me!!' how up your own :censored: are you ffs. I have a four year old at home who does not crave as much attention as you!!

Just give it a rest mate, and you MAY, Just MAY come out with an ounce of credibility when it all comes out in the wash.

Rant over
